If you are looking to hire a wedding planner in the Chicagoland area, look no further than Gina and One Fine Day Events. She was instrumental in helping us throughout our entire wedding planning process as well as assisting us for day-​of coordination. My husband and I decided to have a full service package so Gina and her team were with us from the engagement (even helping with our engagement party) to the day of our wedding and even after that. Gina has a great deal of experience, and has valuable opinions about vendors that really made the selection process so much easier than it could have been. Additionally, she has so much goodwill with these vendors that we often were quoted prices that were well below other quotes we had found on our own.
In addition to these benefits, Gina was very adept at translating our dreams into tangible design elements for us. Being somewhat overwhelmed by the process, Gina was able to distill my vision into a beautiful reality.
As day of coordinator, she was also invaluable. Her and her team were on the spot with everything we could have needed… and ended up needing!

Gina from One Fine Day Events is a professional and this is reflected in her work. She was on top of all of the tasks that needed to be done, and she is very organized. She is also very timely with appointments and deadlines. We definitely relied on her and trusted her with working with our vendors, and she took care of many details so we wouldn’t have to worry or be stressed about them. She shared our vision of our wedding day and made it come true – she exceeded our expectations!

Gina and her staff did an amazing job of making sure that our wedding day went exactly as we had planned and dreamed! She took care of everything starting a month out, and it was so nice to refer all of my vendors directly to her during the last weeks. With so many other things on your mind during this time it is nice to just relax about the big things knowing they were being taken care of. One fine day exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant about getting a day of coordinator because my hotel where I had my reception provided one… however, they did NOT deliver on many different levels. Luckily Gina from one fine day did! I could go on and on but can only say that I would highly recommend 1) getting a day of coordinator for your wedding and 2) going with One fine day events. You won’t be disappointed!

If I had to choose 1 part of my wedding planning that I’m most happy about, its my wedding planner. I am in the midst of the planning and will be getting married in September and I couldn’t have done it with One Fine Day Events! Just from a financial aspect has save me a ton of money. She covers her full fee and much more with the negotiating she has done lowering the cost/​head at my venue, relationships with vendors that give her a cheaper price than the general public and all of the great décor ideas that replace high cost options I had found myself. She has a great sense of style, organized, and always gets back to me incredibly quickly when I have questions (I have a lot!). She is everything and more in a planner. I highly recommend using her!
