Don’t believe the hype… if you have really tasted good Gelato… you will notice the difference. I tried the chocolate egg nog, turtle cheesecake, and seasalt carmel(the best). Don’t get me wrong, the flavors tasted nice, but was definitely expecting better given the Unilocal reviews. This was the 4th gelato place I have been too and definitely falls to the bottom of the list. I went with my fiancé who said his was just«meh» and that it tasted more like icecream. I asked my sister-in-law about it as well who tried it in the past and she also said she wasn’t a big fan. If you want some really STELLAR gelato, try Black Dog in Uki villiage.

While writing this review I’m tempted to go back and get some more gelato. UGH. I love this location because its the perfect spot to casually walk around the neighborhood and explore. There are many restaurants nearby and I recommend you do so! You might find something worth bookmarking as your walking along. This store has a variety of flavors that will suit your palate. My personal favorite are the sea salt caramel, pistachio, and Tiramisu. Depending how many flavors you want, its by size. Maximum 5 flavors. Check this place out!

Absolutely awesome. This is some real great gelato. Stopped in here with some friends after eating a ton of hot dogs and fries, as it seemed like the only option after that meal. I ordered a large and can’t remember the exact flavors I got. I know I got a chocolate peanut butter and other flavors were either chocolate related or peanut butter related. Really good quality and it filled me up a lot(although I was already pretty full to begin with). My friends also loved theirs.

This is literally the best gelato you will ever eat. Take my word. Forget the mariano’s gelato; that does not compare. Every time I walk into Paciugo, it is always so empty and I don’t know why. But because they have so many different flavors to choose from, I end up standing there for 15 minutes trying to decide which flavors I want. So I don’t mind. Flavors I HIGHLY recommend: –Dulce de leche –Mint Chocolate Chip –Amaretto Chocolate Chip –Tiramisu –German Chocolate –Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough –Raspberry Sorbet –Mango Sorbet Basically, try any flavor and you will not be disappointed!

Awesome Local Gelato Store. Great Flavors. There is a «Train Activity Table» to Occupy Kids. Outdoor Seating is available, but we always just sit in the«Square» right outside the Store.

These guys know their gelato! I have yet to be disappointed in a flavor I’ve ordered but the chocolate chocolate chip is by far my favorite. Italian wedding cake and baileys are also really good. The place is clean and the location is great. If you want to sit out on a bench on a fine day and enjoy the weather, there is ample opportunity to do so.

As my nephew would say… This ice cream(gelato) is the Truth! It was very cute and clean establishment and the customer service was superb. I also love the neighborhood feel and being able to eat outside while watching children play and people socializing. Great experience. I will definitely recommend!

So many flavors, so little time. Paciugo is tucked away in a brick plaza near the landmark Lincoln Square fountain. It’s set back in a place where neighbors gather and children play. This is the land of Lincoln Square where the mythical Paciugo is located. Walk in and check out the gelato case. There are rows and rows of delightful flavors to ponder. Being a non-dairy gal, I was delighted that they had FIVE non-dairy options. Decisions, decisions. I opted for a piccolo, the smallest size they offer. Even with the smallest size you can get up to 3 flavors which are piled high above the rim of the cup. I chose chocolate sorbet, which was deep, dark and decadent. Then I added a wild berry flavor which was fresh and fruity. My third choice was a chocolate banana soy based gelato. It was creamy and sweet and perfectly balanced. Visit Paciugo. Sit outside and relax on a bench while eating the sweet, cold, delicious flavors of your choice. You can people watch and really wind down. It’s a great way to spend a summer evening.

Been here two times now. Very good, what bad things can you say about gelato! I like the area and the space they have created. It’s very spacious on the inside and if it’s a nice summer day — you can go outside or walk the Lincoln Square area.

Remember how Snow White was poisoned? Yes, she was poisoned by taking a bite into that red, delicious-looking apple given by her stepmother who disguised herself as an old lady. Ok, I know many of you were thinking how gullible that cute Snow White was. Well, what if that apple were to be replaced with Paciugo’s gelato? Let me volunteer paying the role of Snow White because it would be totally alright with me if gelato were the last thing I could have… before heading to sleep. When it’s time to wake up, a kiss won’t be necessary. I would rather have one of those«gelatte» made with the Irish coffee-flavored gelato… and my cellular device serving as an alarm clock. I bet many of you will have the«Snow-White-being-gullible» moment when it comes to refreshing gelato. I suggested hubby to come here after our dinner, since Lincoln Square is a vibrant place to be during summer time in Chicago. My primary mission was to get coffee, but the presentations of different gelato flavors were so distracting, in a positive way. Hubby spotted«gelatte» on the menu. «Gelatte» is a combination of latte and gelato. I thought It would make sense to pick«Irish coffee» for creating my own gelatte concoction. As expected, It turned out to be very delicious! Hubby, on the other hand, had frutti de bosco(fruit of the woods) and pistachio. «Frutti de bosco» is translated as «mixed berries» in English. The typical«mixed fruit» combos are blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. If you prefer anything fruity on your dessert, I would recommend this to fruit lovers. Paciugo has several locations in the city, while the Lincoln Square location is the closest to where I reside. I’m surprised that there’s no idiom for gelato, like«I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.» Thus, let’s give gelato the same respect as we’ve been giving to ice cream and other kinds of dessert, my fellow Gelatorians!

Everything I’ve tried thus far(total of 7 flavored in 2 visits) is delicious. 40 degrees out? Who cares, head to Paciugo! One tip for staff, more smiles and perk, maybe? After all, you’re selling ice cream here :)

Addicted would be a word I can use to describe this place. I am addicted to their dark chocolate. Every time I go here I get the dark chocolate, chocolate chocolate chip and the chocolate turtle and I have called this combination«death by chocolate» :)

This place is so cute! The flavors are great and I think the servings are a little too expensive, but hey they were still good. They had great flavors and I enjoyed trying most of them. Definitely the place to get Gelato

Not as good as Italy. But tasty and refreshing on a hot day. They charge an extra 70 cents for a cone, get it in the cup.

We had a disappointing lunch and I was on a mission to redeem my taste buds and find some good ice cream or gelato. Paciugo did not disappoint! Wow. I really appreciated getting to sample the flavors before deciding what I wanted. Nehad was patient with my family and really great. I LOVED the extra dark chocolate gelato– WOW. The chocolate sea salt caramel was also very tasty and peppermint chip was incredible. I had it in a delicious waffle cone and it truly turned my day around. :) My husband got a gelato latte– coffee with gelato added– he chose chocolate and peanut butter which he thought was great. I like that you can have more than one in a small cup. They give you cute spoons and their lamps and tables have the spoons incorporated in them too which was cute. We had a great experience and I wish we could be regulars but it’s very far away from us. Excellent!

Gelato! My new best friend! I ordered the piccolo and it can hold a maximum of three flavors. I had coffee sea salt caramel, key lime pie, and tutti frutti. With eyes squinted, I rolled over in rapturous joy after each bite! They were marvelous! The coffee sea salt caramel is a must-try! My friend was a level up. She ordered the grande with a maximum of five flavors. She expressed her appreciation and satisfaction by repeatedly exclaiming, «This is soo GOOD!» In other words, she was a short song put on repeat times 50. P. S. I love how this location is conveniently located by Lawrence where some of my favorite Korean restaurants are.
