If any stars at all… I walk in looking for one item and no one that worked there wanted to help! After two employees telling me they were busy, I asked an elderly customer and she helped me! It’s too bad the previous female manager isn’t there anymore… she had that place hopping even if it meant she shouted across the floor!

Avoid this place. Incompetent employees, hanging up on customers, bitching about having to work. This is where high school burn outs go to die. Took em 20 mins to ring me up and inflate 5 balloons. Fuck this place.

This place rocks! I was there on Saturday March 8,2013 and the girls who were working the balloon counter was doing their thing. They had a billion orders and had them all under control. The cashier was super nice even after ringing up customer after customer. This place is huge and they have everything. They always speak when you come through the door and always asking you what you need. These girls and the guy are great. This is my go to party store for any and everything! Way to go. They could teach the people at the Party City on S. Cicero a thing or two about customer service. Thank you for being rock stars ALLTHETIME!!!

It’s the place to go to for Halloween! It was a bit disorganized when I came in for my wig, but that’s typical when it’s the week of Halloween. I like that they extend their hours during Halloween, so they’re open until 10PM. However, I think they charge a little bit extra on other things like candy and decorations. I think you could definitely find better deals somewhere else. Also, you can only get store credit on Halloween merchandise that hasn’t been used.

I really hate this place. For the most part the employees are friendly and helpful but that is all overshadowed by «Ms Rita» First of all what kind of elitist person has them put Ms. on their name tag? I’ve been to other Party City stores and they have never asked me for an ID with a credit card purchase. This lady always does. I sometimes do have an ID because I don’t always have a need for it. I have the unfortunate luck of always getting this lady. She is rude and sarcastic. I thought that it was only me but apparently I am not alone. They are overpriced on several items but they are convenient. You have to pay attention to the prices because I had a situation where they tried charging me more than an item was worth.

Party Favors everywhere! Even a section for costumes. Great place if your on a time crunch and don’t have time to go to 5 different stores to get everything for your get-together.(Plates, cups, toys, candy, games, balloons, table cloths, adorments etc) Prices are a bit high for many items but very convenient one-stop shop.

All the folks working there were very friendly and helpful. it was the end of the night so I was surprised. I got in and out without too much wait or problems. I will be back for more Halloween shopping. they just had too much to take in all in one visit. great location for parking and CTA

This location is rather large(though I think that’s «average size» for the Party City chain) and I was able to spend only about a minute wandering before I was asked by a sales associate if I was looking for anything in particular. I wasn’t — so they let me browse in peace. I think 90% of the clientele here has to be in the«my child is having a birthday party and I’m not making 3 stops to get supplies» group. Likewise, the majority of their merchandise here seemed to be in the«pick a theme/cartoon character/TV show/merchandise mascot and here’s a bunch of supplies in that style» variety. Yes, if my daughter loves Dora the Explorer, I can set up an entire party with Dora hats, cups, tablecloths, piñata, goodie bags, toys, cake decorations — you name it and they have it. The problem is the rest of the merchandise, I guess. I mean if you’re having a party, this place can sell you the cups you’d be better off buying in a restaurant supply place, costumes you’d be better off buying at a real costume shop or for cheaper at a drugstore during Hallowe’en, and candies you can get just about ANYWHERE when they’re holiday related. But sometimes their prices are better. And sometimes you just don’t want to make 3 stops. And sometimes you’ve got a child who won’t be satisfied until they’re eating a Spongebob cake and drinking milk from a Spongebob cup that will spill on the Spongebob tablecloth and you’ll have to wipe it up with Spongebob napkins and then give out a Spongebob whistle in a Spongebob gift bag to stop the crying over spilled milk. Spongebob. This would then be your go-to place.

The selection is good. They do stock for just about any kind of event you could think of. The best is going there when things are on clearance the day after a holiday. Huge Savings. The only drawback to this location is sometimes its hard to find a sales person for some help.
