Wow wow. I had one hell of a experience with this company. My partner and I were in the process off purchasing our first condo and thought it would be a great idea to work with a Pearson Group broker. The broker we worked with was Carleen Lewis. Everything was fine in the beginning, we met her at our first property she reassured us that she would be able to provide us with quality care which was a complete LIE. This broker never wanted to actually show us units. Instead of taking us to the requested properties she would email or text us the security lock codes and tell us to look around for the lock box which had the keys to the unit. THISWASNOTSAFE! Going into neighborhoods and looking around like a creeper for condo keys! Red Flag 1! The only units she was available to show were units that were close to her home, if not you were shit out of luck. Red Flag 2– She constantly complained that we were too picky with purchasing. I had to continue to stress to her that this is our hard earned money and we should be picky! This is an investment. Red Flag 3– While in the process of trying to close on a home she constantly would get our names spelled wrong on contracts which would make us miss deadlines! Red Flag 4– she NEVER seen the that unit we were in the process of buying which really pissed me off. How are you going to get commish for a home that you never saw? Crazy. Every time I referred to the home she would speak of a completely different condo! Ridiculous! Red Flag 5– if your partner is paying for the home she will proudly tell you that she only wants to be contacted by the PAYING party. How rude! During our last meeting, which a screaming match occurred, she stated this again and I had to inform her that she doesn’t know who will be paying the mortgage for this property and for her to treat me as I am not involved in the process is poor treatment. We ended up pulling out of the deal because of her poor customer service, lack of communication, rude attitude and clearly lack of real estate knowledge. I also spoke with her boss whom said he would speak with her then take over our buying process but this never happened. BEWARE if you are a home buyer it’s best to work with a company that actually takes pride in communicating and care for individuals. Adiós Amigos!
