Tim is fantastic to work with! No question.
He came in to pick up the finish trim work on a renovation in our home, installing miles of trim at the baseboard, around doors and windows, as well as installing some doors and finding solutions to little issues that were sprinkled all around. As we were living IN the space while the work was going on, he was amazingly accommodating about working around our stuff. Very concerned about the dust and general upheaval of things — more than we were ourselves!
He is a fabulous craftsman who puts care and quality into his work. He knows his craft –well– and is able to come up with solutions on all levels (cost, complexity, etc) to all the detail problems that arise during a project.
He is friendly, honest, professional and courteous. The antithesis of any nightmare expectations out there of a «contractor.» This is the kind of tradesperson you want in your house on your job.
The only reason I would not have you call him is because I would want him to be available next time I need him!

Tim Peloquin just finished installing my kitchen backsplash and I couldn’t be more pleased. He is truly a craftsman. He took incredible care with his work and the result is just beautiful.

Tim Peloquin acted as the general contractor on a large renovation project that we completed for our loft in Bucktown. The project involved taking 900 sqft lower level down to the slab and then building out four rooms, including a brand new bathroom. Tim performed most of the work himself but had a few regular helpers. Tim’s specialty is carpentry and did an amazing job turning an existing staircase and installing hardwood floors with vent channels running underneath. Tim handled everything, including all the site preparation, demolition, framing, wall construction, tiling and finish work. Tim is very personable and easy to communicate with, which is important when you know the result you’re looking for but don’t know exactly what the options are to arrive at it. He runs a professional operation, with courteous and professional email/​phone/​text and timely & accurate invoicing. Will work with Tim Peloquin on my next project without a doubt.

Tim and Crew were able to salvage the poor workmanship of another contractor when we remodeled our house. His communication, honesty and value are unbeatable.
