I’ve been going to Cathy Vaccaro’s Pilates classes at QUADS Gym for a year now and can honestly say that my life is much better for it. I am a career martial artist and would be in severe trouble if I didn’t have Cathy’s help with managing chronic injuries and preventing future ones through strength and flexibility training. Cathy’s strength as an instructor lies in two areas. First, she is extremely adaptable to your individual needs, oftentimes knowing better than you what your actual physical limitations are. While making me physically stronger she has also helped me break through mental barriers and given me confidence while recovering from some serious injuries. She knows how to push you to reach the next level. Secondly, she is very invested in her clients. Her only concerns while working with me are my health and in helping me overcome obstacles, and this is the manner in which she approaches all her clients: a general concern for and investment in their well-being. Whether or not you have any experience with Pilates, I highly recommend Cathy’s classes if you’re interested in getting stronger, correcting your posture, injury prevention, increasing flexibility, or getting a good workout.
