I hate to be writing a 2 star review but I just couldn’t in good conscience give this place more than 2 stars. Keep in mind this review is based on Pita Heaven at the Fooda pop up cart in my office building in the loop. For $ 9 I ordered the Chicken Kabob plate– 2 small kababs of chicken, 4 small slices of potatoes, a little soggy lettuce and a heaping pile of tzatziki sauce. Super stingy portions except when it came to the tzatziki. Thanks but I prefer actual food and not condiments for lunch. I’m guessing it’s their way of weighing down the container so you leave with a heavy container thinking you actually got(some) food. Maybe it was because it was Fooda and not at the actual location but if you’re going to do Fooda, come prepared with enough food so you’re not leaving paying customers feeling like they got the short end of the stick.

Food is average. The biggest issue inhave with this place is their chicken gyro. The menu states«slices of chicken» however what you receive is grisel of hard fatty chicken. The actual gyro is not that great. STICKTOMR. GREEKGYROONHALSTED if you are looking for a gyro.

So I’m trying to get as much protein in my diet as possible and when insane pita heaven I said to myself yay healthy! I ordered a chicken kabob wrap and it was ok. They took super long to make it which means I had to wait more than usual. The chicken was good but pretty basic and not worth the $ 10. Homemade chips were tasty. Bathrooms were clean I don’t think I’ll stop by again though, not impressive

I really love the Lamb Panini because it’s a good deal, but other than that, I haven’t been impressed with their food. The chicken gyro was dry and had way too much mustard poured on top. The dijon mustard as a dressing was a strange choice for a gyro in the first place.

Full plates which makes the money worth it. I enjoyed the veggie platter. The falafel and zucchini cakes were delicious. The hummus was ok, I have had better but its not the worse. My bf had the meat platter and every type of meat was flavorful and cooked rather nicely. But the workers there can be kind of cocky or maybe that was just his humor. Either way the food was great.

Third time here was NOT a charm. Ordered the half Greek chicken which on previous occasions I’ve received reasonably quickly. Not this time. 30 minutes and no food. When I went back to the counter to inquire they never even put the order in. Asked and received my money back and won’t return.

Second time here. Leaving with the same basic feeling — good Mediterranean food for a bit more than I’d like to pay. «Good» food. Not«great». Don’t get me wrong — you won’t leave disappointed. It’s just that I’ve had better. Food was fresh, atmosphere pleasant and clean. Probably/hopefully as they get more business and perfect their art(and hopefully bring the prices down a notch due to volume), they’ll move up to a five star rating. Time will tell…

After 7 hours of waiting in the emergency room in nearby hospital, their gyros are really godsend, straight from heaven, will definitely come back again

Was in town for a Blackhawks game and stopped in at this spot that I had never been to. Got the Gyros dinner and it was awesome. Damn good, would definitely go back. Cool, small atmosphere too.

We both had the greek chicken. It was phenomenal. Customer service was excellent. Gabriel was the right guy at the front. Guys in back definitely know how to cook. We’ll definitely be back!

Really impressed by the customer service and the food was solid. We decided to eat inside the restautant(instead of taking it to go) and ordered the chicken kabobs and the gyro plate. Food came out quickly, we probably waited less than 5 minutes. Both orders were delicious — nothing crazy out of this world, but very tasty. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which I think is unusual for fast food restaurants. They came around and offered to refill our drinks, brought extra sauce to the table, and also gave us a free piece of baklava. They definitely went the extra mile and I will be going back again because of it!

Well I told myself when I ordered to rember to take a pic to post, bbbbbuuutttttttttttt I devoured my chicken gyro wrap so quickly, I simply forgot. I’m a total french fry girl and when given the option between fries or chips, I always go fries. But before I could decide the friendly gentleman behind the counter told me to try the sample they had out on the counter. Delish! I’ll take the homemade chips! I live close by and this little joint might be a new go-to. Can’t wait to try the gyros next!
