So, this place has a DELECTABLE meatball sandwich and really good apple crisp. However, only get it for delivery. The place itself I’ve only been once and will never go back to dine in. It’s a small, bare little room and the staff is like super awkward like they don’t expect anyone to come in, which now that I’ve been there I get. In order to use the restroom, you have to leave the building, go around the side, and walk into some back room where(when I went) there were men just sitting around and watching me go in to look for the restroom without any clues(it was behind the door in the corner). It’s super weird. But they have great food so order it any time! Just don’t go there.

We ordered from them today, and we still haven’t got the order; it’s been 2 and a half hours. They apparently«gave it to the wrong house.» Do not order from here!

I’m usually a take out customer, but today I was early on my way to work so I decided to dine in… in didn’t regret it! I had the Chicken cilantro wrap with fries, and since I’m not a fan a BBQ sauce they were able to make a substitution and used the one I love from de salad section(cilantro-lime vinaigrette), service was also really good, and to be honest, so far i like everything I have tried! I will keep coming here every time I can :)

After receiving horrible service at there Hyde Park location I had written them off. However it was a Saturday afternoon and a friend suggested a pizza place on Halsted but couldn’t remember the name but knew the pizza was great. We were starving and I didn’t want to go to this place after the service at there larger Hyde park location. This location was less of a dine in atmosphere, more drop in pick up your pizza and go. However we dined in. The cashier was also our waiter. I don’t recall his name but he gave us really great service. While also cleaning tables and waiting on customers at the register.

Ordered thru grubhub and they came 20 minutes before the quoted time. Food was still warm and everything really tasty. Had the gnocchi and parmesan garlic bread. Yum! Also had the tex mex egg rolls, hummus and a pizza. Feeding a few and ALL of us really enjoyed it. Great job pizza Capri. Portions were great and will definitely order from here again!

Dinner was served for tonight, raw burger! Spoke with a manager regarding this disgusting burger and all I got was«attitude». He suggested to send another burger when I made it clear that I did not want another burger. I asked if he could please send me a pizza in exchanged and he refused. Terrible service and manager was extremely rude and argumentative while on the phone. Never again will I order from them!!!

I have been to this place a couple times and always had a positive experience, with the exception of this time. We ordered online but when we arrived for pickup, we were told(a little rudely I might add) that our order would not be ready for another 30 minutes. Our order was placed 30 minutes before, so it took twice as long as it was supposed to. Also, there was no apology from any of the 3 staff members standing there. I was prepared to give 3 stars, however, when we returned, one of the guys helping us apologized profusely. Aside from the service we received today, I enjoy coming to Pizza Capri. We ordered the deep dish pizza with sausage, peppers, onions and mushrooms and fried calamari as an app. The calamari was not my favorite(a little chewy and the breading was a big soggy) but the pizza is always fantastic. And you can BYOB, which is always a great option.

Overpriced everything, especially my basic salad. Floors were disgustingly sticky. And the manager was screaming at the employees the entire time, made all the worse by the fact that there wasn’t even any music to drown him out. Customers were all silent because they couldn’t be heard over him. And I rolled my ankle trying to walk out on their very narrow steps.

This is my new favorite pizza place. I had ordered from a few other local places since moving to the city recently, and they were good, but not that impressive. The delivery was fast, which I haven’t encountered yet in my neighborhood. Usually I wait about an hour and a half for food to get delivered, but I only waited about 40 – 50 minutes, which was impressive since I’m not THAT close to this place. I got the pesto lover’s pizza and apple crisp. The pizza was awesome. I wasn’t expecting many toppings, especially the shrimp. Usually a place lists ingredients and there’s like 3 of each thing on the whole pizza. But no, they didn’t skimp on toppings at all. The crust is thick, but crispy. Sooooo good. The apple crisp wasn’t as warm as I would’ve liked, but I was going to eat it later anyways, so not a big deal. Overall, this place is delicious, and I’ll definitely be ordering from here often.

Manager seem prejudice as I went to enjoy a meal with my Caucasian co-workers and was told that my presence made him uncomfortable and ask my to leave… I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life, it’s sad that we still have ignorant minded people that will allow you to spend money at their business but unable to enjoy it.

We got a plate of the gnocchi and a soup. They were very willing to serve us even though they were officially closing in 1 minute, which made our impression of the place more positive than the food alone did.

More like 3 ½ stars. I enjoyed the pizza. The crust is yummy, thick but still crispy. The sauce was yummy. Cheese was good. We were here before taking in a show across the street. Super fast, relatively cheap. Solid Pizza. Lots of seating. It was so freaking cold outside. We stayed in to eat, and every time the door opened it was like an arctic blast hit us.

I have ordered from here multiple times and have never had an issue until today. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with a group order at our work. Everything was fine until I picked up a piece of chicken only to realize there was eggplant all underneath it. I am not a fan at all of eggplant. When I called to explain the first person that I spoke to was very nice and said he would get the manager, Don. The manager asked me to explain what happened and then said«well I asked our kitchen staff and they said there is no way they made it wrong.» He basically accused me of lying. Not sure how I could make it up. He said«I guess we will send you a new one as soon as possible.» I offered to send the one with eggplant back but he didn’t even want to see it. Also, apparently as soon as possible is another hour wait… Will not be ordering from pizza Capri anytime soon.

We always order in from here. Their pizzas are seriously yum! We usually get the chicken pesto which has the perfect amount of sauce and dressing. I would highly recommend this place for delivery!

The Grecian salad is awesome, I added grilled shrimp which made it great as well. I agree with the thin crust pizza, which is not close to being thin crust. It does not taste well or is crispy at all. I will never get the pizza again, but will definitely be back for the salad!

YUM! Can’t stop thinking about the Una’s Tuna Wrap. It was absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered from here was really good. My gf’s daughter wanted«noodles with red sauce and one meatball», what she got was that plus 2 more large meatballs. She loved it. It also came with garlic bread which she kept asking for more of. My gf got the Chopped Avocado Chicken Salad, she said it was a really good salad. Always forget about this place… not sure why, the food is great!

I rarely eat pizza. It’s not that I don’t like it, I just never get a hankering for it the way I do with say, fried chicken. Or flourless chocolate cake. Or my dad’s eggrolls. Mmmm, eggrolls with peanut sauce. Anyways. I didn’t order delivery from Pizza Capri because I had a taste for pizza last night– rather, I really wanted mozzarella sticks. And they were good. Were they frozen? Don’t know, don’t care, they hit the spot, and they were a step up from the TGI Friday’s brand from the grocery store. Yummy seasoned breading and melty mozzarella combined for a little taste of heaven. I really liked the marinara dipping sauce. It was really chunky and tasted fresh. I got a pizza, too. Yeah, despite everything I said earlier. I opted for the Veggie Twist, sans broccoli and added pepperoni. It was pretty mediocre. The toppings were fresh and there were plenty of them, but the crust was ultra bland. I’ve been doctoring up my leftovers with herbs and seasoned salt. I also got fries. Oops. They were of the skinny variety and better than expected from a pizza place. Food was 3 stars, but the very friendly and smile-y delivery guy was at my door in 30 minutes so I’m going with 4.

Having a bottle of fresh linen room deodorizer on the bathroom countertop only makes me wonder about the hellacious damage someone is putting that room into each and every time poop is made. Covering up said poop with fake linen scent each and every time is no better! Just aerate the room as best possible and exhale said foul wind onto the street. P. s. their washroom is located around the corner out back; it’s where the cooks are making the pies. Pizza Capri is the most average slice of thin crust you could ever yearn for. It’s as typical as a slice of pizza on sale hanging out in a pizza carousel under the warmth of white light. Their signature pies are tasty but as tasty as any chain pie could hope to be and that’s where the buck stops. Well, I think one cool offering could be gluten free crust available for the pies and gluten free penne pasta. Added benefit is that their pasta sauce is free of dairy products; useful information for the parents that need to be mindful of their family member with allergies. Service is good there and seating is great for the single or the very small family. Can’t see this as being a place I’d go to celebrate anything. Only a few tables and most of them are for four. Orders are placed at the counter and then when food is prepared, the attending staff will bring it out to your table. Say for instance you’ve got two adults and three kids. Drinks with two pies(smaller in size) and a gluten free pasta could run you with tax at a bit over forty dollars. Kinda steep if you ask me. Locals seem to like it and suggest trying pasta instead.
