I really like this place! It’s great for a quick lunch. The freshly baked bread is so good. I love that you can customize your own pocket or salad here. Their service is always fast and friendly.

My first experience with this chain. My calzone– the«broccolator”– was bland, heavy on the bread and light on any sauce or cheese that could liven it up. Michael’s salad was ok, but I just couldn’t get enthused about the bread, which is kind of dense and lacking in flavor. Otherwise, a pretty standard fast food joint, a step above Subway.

I don’t like this place ATALL. The bread thing is weird. Just plain weird.

I love that you can custom make your own salad or pocket. I especially love the chicken chili. The staff is very friendly and offers quick service.

In the mood for a salad made your way? Fill out their order card with what you want and let them make it. How many different ways can you REALLY make a salad? Apparently, there are quite a few. It’s not exactly zippy service, but it’s nothing to get antsy about the wait. You can order online and it will be ready by the time you get there. I’ve never ordered online, but I see people coming in saying«I ordered online.» Maybe if I thought ahead, I might try it? It’s a big salad. You will get plenty. Worth going to.

I thought the pocket would be more of a pocket and less of a roll sliced in 2 and then a salad dumped in between it and everywhere in the box. Im not sure I even needed the pocket next time Ill probably just go with a salad which comes with half of the pocket. The chicken was good and the self made mixture I made was up to par, I had tomato, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms, and onions with cheddar and ranch and enjoyed it. It was nice to have fast food that was extremely fresh. I would go back here but I would definitely just get the salad, a pocket is way too much food for one person, if you go with someone else just split one, Im pretty sure you’ll be full.

I’m a HUGE pockets fan! This place rocks because the staff is very prompt and courteous. They’ve given me free pocket bread when I had to wait a while for my calzone. I would definitely encourage you to try the original calzone. Order ahead of time online and head over there 20 minutes later.

After skimming the other reviews for Pockets, it really seems to be a love/hate kind of place. I just got back from eating there, and I was closer to the«hate» end of the spectrum. Hate is a strong word, so I’ll say I was unimpressed, underwhelmed, unsatisfied… You get the point. First off, please CLEANTHEDAMNTABLES. Oh my God. I have never eaten off of a more disgusting surface in an establishment that serves food and isn’t a bar. My table was so sticky my styrofoam water cup stuck to it.(What’s an organic restaurant doing serving styrofoam cups anyway?) I contemplated switching tables, but they were ALL like that. The food was decent and the portions large, but it only had like three cubes of meat in the whole sandwich. All things considered, I don’t feel it was worth the price tag and I know there are other places you can get better healthy food than here.

I’ve walked by Pockets probably a thousand times over the last year and today was my first venture inside. My last dining-out-on-Clark experience didn’t go so well, so I was relieved to find that a place only a few doors down from my last review could salvage the West side of the street. When I ordered at the counter, I had in my hands my copy of Into the Wild(read it if you get the chance). Immediately, the counter guy asked me how I liked it so far because he really enjoyed it and that the movie wasn’t as good, etc. etc. In the 5 seconds I was there, I knew that I would be back there even if the food wasn’t amazing(especially with my last experience so fresh in my mind). But it was actually really good. I got the southwest pocket and added chicken for a dollar and selected the salsa as my dressing. The amount of food didn’t even fit into the perfectly warmed pocket which made for some delicious forking afterwards. I’ll be back.

I went here hoping for fresh tastiness. Instead, I got two rude men behind the counter. For around 10 dollars, I got a plate full of shredded brownish lettuce. Hmm thats it? Umm can I have some dressing on this? Thats EXTRA?! ok, fine. Then they hand me this teeny cup. Grrrrr– pockets was NASTY. I wish I could try it again because I really would enjoy a fresh delivery option, but I was too grossed out.

Huge portions and very easy to order online. You can def order 1 pocket and share it between two people. The popeye pocket with salsa or italian dressing is my favorite. If you refer a friend to their site, they send you a $ 2 off coupon, which almost covers delivery charges. So go on, get recommending and get to ordering.

I’m not gonna lie– I really like Pockets. Cheap, fast delivery, and the bread is ooh-la-la yum. The calzone is a well-kept secret. Well, cat’s out of the bag now ;) But seriously, who would’ve thought one could even entertain the thought of such an amazing calzone from a restaurant so far removed from a pizzeria? Trust me, it’s damn good.

their delivery was slow tonight it took an hour to run a salad and tea to me three blocks away ??? the pocket sandwich did not seem as fresh as usual and it is hard to justify a 7 dollar sandwich tea and bread sticks coming to 17 dollars when delivered … lastly when are they going to get my address right? i am at the front desk of the building NOT unit 501 ! for cripes sakes fix the damned repeated address !

GLADTOSEEITCLOSED! Good Food… Bad Service. I have gone to many Pockets and this had to be the worst one! The food is good, calzones are huge and taste great. I ordered online went in to pick it up, it wasn’t ready and I was practically yelled at for asking how much longer. I went to get my card stamped for the three calzones I purchased and the guy again yelled at me and said«you ordered that online… you’re not getting that too» I wasn’t going to get into it with the guy but come on, talk to me… don’t yell.

I am willing to say a Pockets Chef Salad is one of my all time favorite foods. I tried to make this myself when I lived on the east coast.(tiny chopped things with homemade ranch). Not the same at all. I even pay for delivery, even though it is hard to justify a final price of $ 20 bucks on a salad. But, sometimes it just needs to happen.

OH yes… Pockets is amazing. Its seriously just the right thing to have when you aren’t looking for a greasy meal. Everything here is good, but I love to build my own pocket. I recommend putting Almonds and dried cranberries on yours with the rasberry vinaigrette. Simply amazing! the –1 star is for service. No matter which Pockets I’ve been to– the person behind the counter doesn’t seem to speak English well… and tends to ignore you if you’re not up in his face and ready to order. Weird, but the food makes up for it!

The last time I set foot in this pockets was back in early 1999. I used to order the Popeye pocket on a regular basis. It was one of my favorites in the area. Fast Forward to 7÷30÷07 @ 7:50PM… Me and my sweetie walk into Pockets to grab a bite to eat since I have been craving a Popeye pocket for about eight years. The same little dude who used to take my order is still freaking there. So we get our food… I cover my pocket with yummy ranch dressing and take a bite… Although it was good, it still disappointed me. It just wasn’t as fresh as I used to get them. It wasn’t bad by any means but it just did not have that fresh, crispness that I was used to and come to expect from this place. i am hoping that it was just an end of the night issue. I will be back here for repeat visits and I sure hope that they redeem themselves.

Food is so good and it feels pretty healthy. The bread(NOT A PITA) is sooooo good. Loved the Tuna Pocket with Ranch dressing! The staff is made up of people that could not hack it at McD’s but the taste makes it worth the visit. No good parking so best to walk or take the Clark bus.

I love the food! It is so convenient you can order and pay online then they always have it ready for you when you come in to pick it up. The food is always fresh!!! The BBC Calzone is really good. I always try the Southwest as well and every time it looks good on the menu, but doesn’t taste as good as the BBC. I recommend ordering from their website, it is much more convenient than waiting while you’re there.

DELICIOUS! I’m not a big fan of fast food, but Pockets is a very healthy alternative. The service is super fast, and the vegetables are always fresh and tasty. Their ranch dressing is the best I’ve ever had!
