Love this popcorn place! I love the fact that they have so many flavors to choose from… love their garlic parmesan and sour cream popcorn…

Love this popcorn!!! Went to Chicago on vacation, came across this spot. I’ve been addicted every since. Ordered some rainbow and pecan caramel online as soon as we got back home. Got it in two days. Also, just ordered three half gallon cans online. Asked for standard shipping, they still shipped it in two days. The canisters the popcorn comes with are the cutest. I’m more than satisfied and will be a customer for life.

I can never have butter-​drenched popcorn at the movies again. Never. Pop This has ruined me.
When I first visited Chicago over a year ago, my BFF told me about Garrett’s and their Chicago Mix, which is cheese and caramel popcorn mixed together. Naturally, I gave her the crinkled-​nose salute and told her that she must be either pregnant or crazy. Nonetheless, I tried the Chicago Mix and fell madly in love. I’m most certainly not pregnant, so this means that I’m crazy.
What the heck does this have to do with Pop This? Well… I had a Garrett’s craving like you wouldn’t believe. But it wasn’t enough for me to hop on the L and go downtown. So I remembered the cute little popcorn shop in Woodfield called Pop This and decided to give it a whirl.
This is a small little shop, and as such, it was a little crowded. I noticed the many flavors of popcorn, as well as bulk candy and little gifts. The staff is very nice and helpful, letting me taste as many flavors as I wanted. I didn’t want to be a sample abuser (example:
), so I asked to try the cheese-​covered caramel – aka «Charmel» and the plain buttery. The Charmel was a pleasant surprise. It was much stickier than Garrett’s Chicago Mix, but still full of flavor. A cheese sauce is poured over the caramel corn, so every kernel gets both flavors. I dig. The plain buttery is pretty tasty, too. I found that I didn’t even need the extra butter.
I decided to order a small bag of Charmel and a medium bag of plain buttery. Even though the size of the bags seem small, the staff opens the bags wide open, fills them to the brim, and puts those bags in a bigger plastic bag. Now this I like! And it’s a great value; it’s been several days and the S.O. and I are still working on both bags of popcorn (and it’s still fresh)!
I still love Garrett’s, but Pop This is a serious contender. Let’s just call them my children and I can love them equally.
Treat yourself to some popcorn here and have a movie night. You won’t be disappointed (and if you are, just send your popcorn to me.).

I am obsessed with this place!!! I go basically every week. They have a popcorn called charmel which is cheese popcorn covered in caramel and it is the best popcorn I have had in my life!!! Their cheese flavor is better than Garret’s and nuts in Clark. They have a garlic Parmesan popcorn that I like to mix with the charmel. U guys have to try this place. It is sooooooooooooooooo good!!! If this place closes I swear to god I will go into mourning and lose my mind!

I went to the new Pop This in Woodfield Mall and fell in love. I had Ranch cheese popcorn and caramel mixed. The small bag was more than enough and I ate it all in the car on the way home. They have more than your typical cheese and caramel. They have Jalapeño, Kettle Corn, Crushed Red Pepper. This will be a regular visit for me. They also have lot’s of candy and popcorn bars, but the caramel was really rich and creamy. I don’t think I could take a popcorn bar. But I’ll be back for the cheese (ranch) all the time. Love it!

I happened upon this place while my girlfriend was craving a popcorn ball. Google Maps located Pop This nearby and I called ahead to see if they had said ‘popcorn balls’. No luck but we went anyway. The place is awesome. It kinda reminded me of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory… just without the oompa loompas. Candy everywhere, tons of popcorn flavors, colorful decorations… We settled on the caramel and cheese popcorn mix after passing on the caramel-​cheese popcorn. The owner was gracious enough to give us a generous sample of the latter but having the flavors separate yet together was the better option. I look forward to going back to try the other flavors next time I am in the area.

I bought their kettle corn, caramel corn & jalapeño cheese corn. They are perfectly popped (rounded & huge), but they flavor is just ok.

i’ve stopped in Pop This on three occasions, and always received really friendly service. the employees were open to helping me decide which of their MILLIONS (not really millions, but there were a LOT) of flavors. plus the prices are very reasonable.
on my first visit, i ended up choosing the caramel-​coated cheese popcorn. it has a cute name, but i’m forgetting what it is right now. anyway, imagine the freshest, most flavorful cheese popcorn you’ve ever had. now imagine the crunchiest, sweetest caramel popcorn you’ve ever had. and now, combine the two euphoric experiences together, and you get the caramel-​coated cheese popcorn! each time i’ve gone, i bought this. not to mention — because the caramel coats the cheese, your fingers don’t get NEARLY as cheesy as it does with typical cheese.
i’ve also tried the ranch, white cheddar, jalapeño, and others. and all of them had distinct flavors and great popcorn-​crunch.
on my last visit, i had the opportunity to meet the owner. she’s very friendly and i can tell she’s really happy about pleasing the customer.

This is one of the cutest popcorn shops I’ve ever been to. I ordered my wedding favors from Pop This Popcorn. Chicago mix. Cheddar and caramel. Yummy. There are plenty of other interesting flavors as well, caramel apple, cherry, blueberry, etc. Along the wall, there’s a variety of candies to select from. It seriously feels like walking into Willy Wonka’s factory. It’s a family run place that’s local — and I love supporting local businesses.

omg omg omg — this is amazing! They have popcorn that has a combination of chocolate and caramel. That is sooo addictive. It’s bright and happy. Tons of candy.
Can’t wait to try the fudge and all other amazing things.
But popcorn is the best thing — so many different flavors from cheese to caramel.
Probably going to be going there more times in the winter time for those evenings when it’s super snowy out.
MMMMM pop corn. Weird since I usually hate popcorn. But whatever they do to it is amazing!

Very cute little store, I hate using the word cute but it is. Been going here since it opened last year. My fiancé loves their cheese popcorn so that is what we usually get, but I always sample something else while I’m there too. They have a lot of different flavors of popcorn, some really good, some ehhh, not so much, but that’s just my preference. They also have a full wall of candy you can buy by the pound, fudge, pretzels, snow cones and other little snacks. Can be a little bit pricey, but not too bad compared to similar stores. Overall a good little shop. Beware though, the popcorn is addicting and you will find yourself finishing the x-​large bag that you wanted to last a few days that same night.
