I went to Power Trip looking for a unique experience. Little did I know I was in for a rude awakening: Nuclear Assault and Exhorder were way better.
I was told Power Trip offered a fresh new take on American Burger Metal that is featured so prominently in Chicago at places such as Kuma’s and Lockdown. Boy, was I mistaken. I wouldn’t call them Burger Metal at all, let alone beard metal. I am not sure if head honcho RG can even grow a mustache.
If you enjoy Burger or Burrito Metal, I cannot stress this enough: do not come here. Power Trip is the real deal speed thrasher Spinkick Fight Metal. A little too real. Some dickhead dropkicked my girlfriend and I got flying tackled from parts unknown. Gave them a second star because they let my girl take a selfie with them.

neanderthal listen to many music for many different thing. power trip best excribed as club music. because for when want to bang head and hit cave neighbor with club, nothing better than power trip.
