Cool place — not huge, but has a nice selection in a variety of genres and friendly staff. Also has my favorite(personally I think this feature is a must in any decent record shop) — under the table bargain boxes! As always with these, you have to work through a fair number of Barbra Streisand albums to get to the good stuff, but I always find a couple of nice surprises that make it worthwhile(especially at $ 1 each or 5 for $ 6). Certainly worth a stop if you’re near the Montrose blue line /expressway, and I’d even make a special trip on a gloomy afternoon to spend an hour or so browsing.

Definitely a good selection of old AND new. Not too many of the big fish as far as vinyl, but still some gems.

I found some blues records by Taj Mahal for my friend, these records aren’t easy to come by so the fact that this place had it made me so happy. The guy who worked there told my boyfriend and I if we are ever looking for a record in Minneapolis(where we live) and we cant find it, he’ll find it and ship it to our house, how cool is that? This place is golden I wish we had more places like this in MN, so in love.

Great shop and it was nice to see Terry behind the counter last time I was there… which was yesterday… The best part is the Hurly-burly 7″ vinyl section… buck each, two bucks if its in a pic sleeve… Dig in! Nice selection, friendly, and reasonably priced…

I came here after following the first review by Katrina, and I love this place now. Their selection, classics-90’s, and they are now under new management looking to expand their selection by customer suggestions.

I’ve been putting off reviewing this shop. It’s one of my secret places. It’s an uncurated haystack of vinyl that has yielded many treasures. The most I can say is, on my last visit, I picked up Iron Maiden’s The Number of the Beast, a fantastic Les Paul and Mary Ford duet compilation, and a Salt N’ Pepa’s Very Necessary for a grand total under $ 10. It’s a gold mine.
