Rainbow Maytag Coin Laundry

I saw the reviews on Unilocal and was apprehensive about coming here. It’s actually a good laundromat. Yes, there are a few machines currently out of order: 5 washers and 5 dryers, but it was no problem getting my clothes done on a busy Saturday afternoon. No big deal.
There are good number of machines:
12 normal household size washers
24 L washers
20 XL washers
4 XXL «Megaload» washers
39 large dryers
There were 2 attendants, a man and woman. Not sure if they are the owners. They were helpful and courteous (although the man was eyeing me suspiciously as I was counting the machines lol). They were also very attentive to occupied dryers not being used.
They have free wifi to keep you entertained. It’s all quarters. No laundry cards. Overall I’m pretty satisfied with the place.

I seriously can’t come back here. The first time I came here with my boyfriend. We’re both bringing in a ton of laundry and this man that works there told me I couldn’t get quarters at the machine. He was so rude. How was I supposed to wash with no quarters. Basically he thought I was just in there getting quarters. Did he not see us dragging in our laundry? Really? I didn’t go back because because of the rude staff and there really were a ton of broken machines.
I decide to go back on my own months later. Today I approach that same man because I put 75 cents in the Coke machine and I got nothing. He walks over to the machine questioning me like I didn’t put the money in… Finally he does and also realizes that there’s an issue with the machine. It’s not giving money back and some of the options simply don’t work. He gives me the one option that actually did work and said next time he’s not going to give it to me. What?! Are you serious?! The machine clearly wasn’t working. I’m not trying to get a random free drink. I just want what I pay for! Plus even more broken machines. A lot of dryers this time were broken. I noticed people had to wait to dry due to the lack of working dryers.
Overall, this place sucks. I just can’t return. It’s sad because it’s incredibly close to my apartment. I’m so disappointed in this place and the person who works there.

Incredibly rude staff. I have taken laundry here in the past and it was ok, it’s just laundry. Until they destroyed two of my shirts and then refused to do anything about it. The guy was always nice before until there was a problem, then he became hostile and told me to leave.

Terrible, terrible, terrible laundromat. I agree with the other Unilocaler their are several washer and dryers but several are broken. The staff can be pleasant it just depends on the day.
The main reason that I dislike this place is I went one time and their was no hot water, what! Come again I thought that water especially hot is one of the «main ingredients» of a laundromat! The thing that upset me was when I told the manager/​worker he confirmed that the hot water wasn’t working. I asked him why he didn’t put a sign on the main door? He said because people don’t read. Excuse me, I read and actually I love reading! This is a convenient place right off the red line Thorndale stop, has a lot of potential to be better. Needs a new owner!
Hours of operation 7:00am — 10:00pm. Last wash at 8ish. Reasonable priced washers 7,8 or 14 quarters and dryers I don’t know I usual insert 2 or 3 quarters for completely dry clothes.

A lot of the washing machines and dryers are broken here. I’m going to search for a better laundromat.
