Raw is a welcome addition to Chicago. Everything is freshly made and offers real variety. Very healthy take on eating. Not cheap, but this food can’t be found elsewhere. Just try making this at home – it is challenging and time consuming. Spices and textures are great. Only on one occasion did I encounter bad product(a muffin that was not completely dehydrated), but they gladly exchanged). Raw also has an outlet at Whole Foods and French Market.

Wow. Cannot stop eating/drinking the goodness from RAW. I went totally raw myself for a period of time. It can be pretty work intensive to make great meals. Had RAW been around then, no problem, I would have stayed the course. Their food is something I could eat everyday. Even the deserts, are nothing to ever feel guilty about. My faves are the lemon squares and the trumisu. UNBELIEVABLE! I also love the creamy Almond milk. The place is nice, staff friendly, and they also serve coffee. Could one ask for anything more? Try it, and if you have tried it, go again. Feel good about eating healthy food that tastes amazing and not whatever you think«raw» would be. We’re a long long way from a carrot stick here.

My only complaint is that I didn’t stumble across this place sooner! Being that I come to Chicago monthly and stay in the Godfrey right down the street, this place is perfect for my fellow health nuts(or whomever). I despise putting anything artificial in my body and this little shop only uses raw ingredients. Hence the name. I had a cappuccino with almond milk and agave sweetener and grabbed a muffin to-go(it’s actually made from ingredients I can pronounce) yay!.. and super delicious. They also have a selection of pre-packaged vegan meals for those on the run. I’ll be checking in here frequently now that I’ve discovered this little gem.

So many delicious looking choices of health food, I loved everything I tried! Including the vanilla coconut ice cream… To die for! As a naturopathic doctor I am always looking for health conscious alternatives when I travel. Although whole foods is across the street, consider this local spot for unique health foods.

BLISS! Little quaint Vegan store. My friend and I were in town from DC and Dubai. The lady helping us was a sweetheart attentive and super patient! Loved her energy and spirit! Open a location in DC and Dubai! Oh and everything tastes better than the other. The green smoothie, reddish cabbage ginger drink, the sampler, cookie carrot cake, brownies. Literally we bought EVERYTHING!
