The selection of LPs here is average. They have a decent selection of LPs in areas like classic rock and pop, but the selection is limited in other areas beyond this. Condition of the LPs in the areas they carry is fair and tends to be accurate. Overall, there’s just not much for me to say one way or the other about this shop. When they’ve got the goods, they are fairly priced and fairy rated in terms of condition. But the selection is also pretty average. You are more likely to find rarer things and more catalog selections for artists at Reckless or Dusty Groove, but they do well on bringing forth copies of more«run of the mill» LPs at a good price here.

I was heading east on 63rd street and noticed this place. At glance it didn’t look at that interesting but as u walk in and see what they have then u realize this place rocks. I love 45’s. I have never seen this this massive selection before. The owner Steve rocks. Gave me a break. Bob one of the workers there is a wealth of knowledge plus a DJ. They had a bunch of regulars that came in and they chatted like fam. I will be back each chance I can.

Clearly the place to find records. If they dont have it they will get it. Reasonable prices and fare prices to sellers! Includes comic books and trading cards among other things. Its not pretty but it is a diggers paradise.

If you are the type of person who would be turned off by this place, you probably shouldn’t shop here anyway. This store has an ever-changing stock, sometimes they are swamped with vinyl sometimes not. Lots of hidden gems, if you look hard enough. The rarer more collectible records are behind the counter and are worth a look if you collect old garage rock, rockabilly, instro etc 45s. They also have lots of different collectibles, comics, sports cards and more. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The guys that work there are great. They’re very helpful and friendly, which isn’t always the case for people working in record store. I went there for soul 45s and was pretty happy with the selection.

There’s so much stuff in this place that it’s overwhelming, but most of it just isn’t that interesting. When I turned 16 and got my first record player I thought that this was heaven. Hell, my first trip in there I scored original MDC and Damned 7“s for under ten bucks each! However with each successive trip I realized that it was always the same things so I stopped going in. I went in this past December for the first time in at least two years and found a couple of decent things but many of the records that I remember seeing six years ago are still there. What they have a lot of is the standard fare stuff, the ones that sold millions of copies back in their day but then were sold off when CDs took over the market place. It’s a room full of collections of casual music listeners with the extremely occasional gem. The old guys that run the place are amazing and will talk your ears off about anything and everything. They know their music better than anyone and are always in good moods. There are also many old comics, magazines, sports cards, memorabilia, etc. I want to give it a higher rating but I don’t really know if I can.
