Had a taste for some fro yo, got there only to find out they closed 2 hours early for machine cleaning/maintenance. Mind you there was no sign on the door stating this. Totally irritated at the lack of customer communication. Now I feel I have to call first before ever going back. Not worth the trouble. Badly done Red Mango.

Love the fro-yo! Been here about three times, at first the service was pretty slow and for no reason really, because it’s not like they were packed and rushing, the guys just seemed to be taking their time ringing up our yogurt. But I went last night and it’s improved! Maybe someone talked to them lol. The facility is nice and they have a good selection of flavors, it’s really great addition to Hyde Park I could always use more places to satisfy my sweet tooth!

This was my first visit, and most likely the first time I’ve had frozen yogurt. I went with the basic vanilla and it really hit the spot — not too sweet, a little bit tangy and not heavy on the calories. Added some granola, coconut and almonds for texture. Tons of healthy options available including juices and smoothies — looks like they have salads and wraps available at lunch time. They sell by the weight, so keep that in mind when you’re preparing your masterpiece.

I don’t really care for the FROYO, not one of my things. However, I was going in there regulary for juices. The thing that annoyed me was one of the employees there constantly tried to sell me his juice on the DL behind the Owners back, I thought this unprofessional and annoying. I would have been so mad if my employee was trying to take business from me for his own on the side J.O.B. I have gone back recently and I have to say, at least the guy that was trying to steal business actually liked his job and was good at it. The people there now are kind of rude and don’t really care how long they take to get you your order. Step it up! I also didn’t get my points card returned to me the time before last and of course they don’t have it! I will go in there only on limited occasion, unless something changes. If you don’t like your job, get one you do! The manager needs to be there more because he needs to get his employees trained better on customer service.

My friend Caroline and I randomly decided we wanted some delicious froyo and we walked to red mango after dinner. Zach, one of the employees working behind the counter, was super helpful in recommending which flavors we should get. He also replenished the toppings so that we could get fresh fruit in our froyo. He was really fun and made our experience here really enjoyable. The store was really clean and they play really good music!!! You’ll definitely enjoy your time here!

They have a large variety of flavors as well as toppings which means there’s something for everyone. There’s also a 20% discount for students which you can’t beat.

Maybe it’s a city thing but the Red Mangoes that I’ve visited in the suburbs have much better service! It actually seems like the people working there appreciate having a job. This hyde park location has the rudest, most uncouth, and ignorant employees I’ve experienced at any yogurt shop let alone Red Mango. The yogurt is tasty but I won’t be giving these people my money to be rude to me any longer. At least the people at Zberry down the street give their customers some courtesy. They have a smaller selection but I’ll trade it for the better customer service. I hate saying this because the area needs some variety in restaurant selections but I wouldn’t lose any sleep if this Red Mango closed. It’s just that bad.

I love Red Mango but I absolutely HATE that the guy that’s making our drink has his pants so low that I can see his underwear. Where is the Mgr? This isn’t the place for that. If this guy is like this the next time, I’m turning back around.

They have a decent selection of flavors that change with regularity(the Nutty Potion No. 9 [which emulates Nutella] and the Pumpkin Spice are personal favorites). They are very friendly about giving out samples, there’s a 10% discount for students, and this location is always clean. The cons are that you can’t get juices after 7pm, which is slightly annoying, and some of the employees have been slightly rude at times.

They have a pretty good variety of different flavors and toppings, which is definitely a plus. I also liked that they have those small tasting cups, since some of the froyo places I’ve visited don’t have them. The only reason I’m not giving four stars is because the restroom had dried urine all around the seat… pretty disgusting. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Love Red Mango because it has the best flavors of most of the frozen yogurt places I’ve been to. The only other option in this neighborhood until now was ZBerry, so I’m excited that there’s a new froyo joint in town!
