I didn’t know where to begin when looking for a therapist and as an active Unilocaler I thought what better way to find one then on Unilocal,of course. That’s when I found Hedy. I guess I have to say that the true reason I’m writing this review is in hope that someone will read this and be able to find the peace and happiness they need in their lives. Hedy has definitely done that for my husband and I. I contacted Hedy at a very difficult time in my life. I felt that after 18 years of constant arguing with my husband and after so many years of being unhappy. I thought that maybe we were probably ready to throw in the towel and just go our separate ways. It felt unfixable and it was sad because I knew that the love was there, but just didn’t know how to fix it. Hedy has given my husband and I the tools we needed to repair our lives and be happy again. I can go on and on about all the changes we have made in our lives to get to this place and we owe it all the Hedy. Looking forward to living a much healthier, happier and peaceful life thanks to Hedy.

Truly and honestly, my husband and I would not be together today if it were not for her — and, the road we would have taken to the end would have been excruciating.
Many, many years ago when I first saw her photo and ad in the yellow pages book, I had a good intuition. My instincts were correct.

Hedy Tan is like going to 1^st grade for marriages — it’s learning the basics. You not only learn about living in a relationship, you learn about yourself.
She gives you the tools to grow straight, instead of crooked — in a relationship and within yourself.
We can’t all have parents that raise us correctly, and Hedy teaches us how to be a mature adult with the skillset of long-​term relationships.
I would hate to think how I would be now without her — truly.

Hedy is great to work with, as a couples counselor, as well as individually while working on your relationship. Unlike other therapists, Hedy users a more proactive approach, getting to the root of the behaviors affecting your life and relationship. I found this to be very helpful for myself and my fiancé (now husband) before our wedding. If you’re serious, and ready to fix and/​or improve your relationship, Hedy is definitely the one for you.

Hedy saved me from myself. I was codependant and hanging on to one bad relationship after another. I was a addicted to bad relationships and was going down quick. Hedy was a lifeline. She is amazing and can help anyone who is in a relationship with an alcoholic, drug addict, sex addict, work addict or who is just plain unavailable. I found Hedy’s workshop dealing with family of origin issues to be extremely helpful in getting to the root of my problems. The people I met in group were very supportive and understood what I was going through. I am now in a very happy marriage with two lovely children and one on the way. God bless Hedy. My husband and I love each other but we couldn’t stop arguing. Hedy coached us how to apply Relational Life Skills and resolve our differences in a mutually loving and respectful way. It was amazing how quickly our troubled marriage turned into a loving and fulfilling relationship. I’m so glad I found her.
