Robert’s Fish Market

Robert’s is a great kosher fish market on Devon. The owner cuts and fillets your order from the whole fish sitting on ice.
From conversations with the owner, I learned that he provides fish for a number of nursing and retirement homes that keep kosher, The great thing about this for the walk-​in customer is that there is always a fresh supply of fish.
And he is an honest, straightforward businessman. On one occasion, I asked for salmon that I was going to grill that night, and he said, «I really think you might prefer something else today.» And he recommended a couple of other types of fish that would be good on the grill. That doesn’t happen at your typical supermarket.
(And for what it’s worth, I don’t keep kosher. I just like this shop.)

This place has been here forever and it will be here forever.
This is what a good old fish market should look like just 1 guy and some fish on ice. The selection is not big but the customer service is great.
You can have a few fillet or half a fish, cleaned and ready to cook.
