Rosin Eyecare

On March 17th, I had a 9:30am appointment. The office was very clean and spotless. My doctor was Daniella Drozd. Right away I knew I was in good hands. She was kind, polite, friendly and professional. She made an excellent first impression. I was very impressed with her knowledge and attitude. The equipment all seemed new and up to date. The two ladies at the reception desk were also very nice and professional. I was informed that my health care provider was accepted and there were no co-pays. The examination was a very positive experience. Yes, sometimes the American health care system does work great.

I should have looked at these reviews before going there. Wow this place sucks. Here is the top 10 reasons why they suck:
1. The doctor was a moron! The prescription she gave me for my contacts was drastically different
2. The building is old, so old your wondering if there any other offices in there besides them
3. The water from the water fountain tasted scary bad. Like there was lead leaking into the water
4. The elevators were so slow and old, I thought I was going to get stuck in them.
5. There is no name on the office, since they are the only ones on the floor you need to assume it’s them
6. Parking is a pain, had to park far away and pay for it
7. The exam was super fast and clearly skipping steps
8. They did not give me a trial contact to try my new contacts
9. The office was the smallest office I’ve seen
10. They are super expensive; $ 160 for an exam, which is almost twice as much as everyone else.
11. The doctor was so weird. She had a weird personality and we just did not click. I personally like to get along with people I see and this women was just weird.
I really wish I had read the reviews first but I just assumed it would be fine Rosin Eye Care is usually a good company. Wrong! This location sucks in an every aspect possible.
I went to a WAY better doctor today and he did a much more thorough exam and determined that my contacts & glasses are the same. He spent over 60 minutes with me asking good questions and really examine my eyes and making sure everything was 100% accurate. I’m so glad that I paid for another exam. If you want a real doctor check out DV optical on division; they were awesome!

Why didn’t I listen to Jean!!! The prescription they gave me is weaker than my last one so my vision is worse. They kept blaming it on my astigmatism. I gave them one of my old favorite pairs of Kate Spade’s to put in the new prescription, and they broke them. The customer service reps are so rude. Don’t go here!

Unless you’re taking a cab, dont bother coming to this location. First you have to FIND the parking garage entrance, then you have to go up to the 4^th floor to cross over buildings and down a huge long hall to the other elevators to go up to the 9^th floor to this office. It took me nearly 15 minutes from street to office.
If you plan on being able to see yourself in your new specs in the mirror — bring a windex wipe. I’ve never seen such foggy lenses and dirty mirrors in a spec shoppe. TERRIBLE.
I will have them transfer my files back up to Morton Grove. This location SUCKS BALLS.
