I think this store is out of business… Went early Dec. and sign in window says under renovation… doubtful…don’t waste time getting there.

Super cool store. The people who work there are extremely helpful. Def a more high end place, but if you’re serious about fashion it’s the spot to go to in Wicker Park.

Bought a sweatshirt online and it came directly in a cardboard box, not even rapped in a plastic bag. Came with no tag either. The sweatshirt has a small hole torn in the front when it came and they refused to exchange it after I send in the photo. Definitely not buying from them again.

I’ve been here a few times now(with/for my fiancé), and everyone has always been nice and helpful. They have a lot of merchandise that is not set out, so definitely ask what they have in the back. This is a boutique, so it’s great if you’re looking for unique items. The few times I’ve gone, we’ve also been able to get great discounts on items that aren’t necessarily marked as being on sale. That was a pleasant surprise!

I first started shopping here because they were the only store other than St. Alfred that carried Original Fake in Chicago, since then they’ve expanded quite a bit. I’m not a fan of their whole roster because it seems to cater more to hypebeasts(overly urban trendy folks) than anyone else. Nevertheless, I still like to check out some of the Medicom stuff and Rizzoli books they have in store from time to time. Also, if you’re into art and animé they have some autographed rare Murakami prints in there. Of coure they’re really expensive, but they’re still cool to see if you’re into that kind of stuff. As far as staffing goes, they’re knowlegable and seem pretty chill to me. I’ll probably converse more next time I’m in town and stop by the store.

This is a great store. Both people at the store were quite nice and didn’t bother me(but were open to questions).

I walked in one of the employees said«whats up, if you need anything let me know»… I just browsed like 20 minutes without anyone saying another word to me. Which is exactly what I wanted… Checked out some over priced pieces. Then asked for a Knicks JustDon hat… They were sold out, so I settled for a Nets JustDon hat and a RSVP Tee. Unless you’re dropping ten racks plus, or happen to bump into Yeezus dont expect an memorable experience out of this shop. I was just happy to see the shop in person after seeing it in so many Tumblr post. The American flag from«Otis» is there which is kinda cool. Its a high end shop, so unless you’re cool and got them racks… Just be happy they let you in.

Horrible service, insane prices and rude staff. Absolutely no reason to spend your money here. I had one of the worst retail experiences of my life here.

In a small basement, rude staff, no one acknowledge me & my friend. Over all it’s just hype, I was disappointed. I don’t even know how they sell anything when they ignore customers.

With respect to Kanye’s involvement in this store, I will say that RSVP truly is the«Yeezus» of retail shops in Chicago; especially in the sense that it’s also hard to understand(at least how they make any money that is!). Being much too niche for anything outside of Soho, I can’t imagine them selling enough Comme de Garcons T-shirts and pop culture trinkets to actually turn a profit at this establishment. Neon Rolex and Chanel signs are indicative of the pricing regardless of the fact that they sell neither of those brands nor any reputable enough to command a significant loyal following. I pop in with people each time I have to wait to sit down at Mindy’s for brunch, but it’s mostly for comedic effect as everyone always has a laugh and never an actual purchase.

Acquired taste in clothing and must have the right finances to purchase any attire/items from this store. It definitely has an urban street wear appeal and unless you’re familiar with the brands and are down to drop hella bills, this spot isnt for you. Entering the store, theres really to be in awe about. Pretty mellow and lacks appeal(but that could be the vibe they tryna give off, idk) Very clean store, organized, and limited selection though… that aside, those who have done their research and are aware of the store and its reputation, wouldn’t be surprised by its prices are items for sale. Definitely a spot to check out for those educated in the realm of Givenchy, Pyrex, Kanye West brand, Air Jordans, etc. Too rich for my blood though haha

horrible at running a business. i ordered something, they took my money and never sent me an update. not for ten days. starting to worry, because the charge went through and the money was deducted – i emailed them. they didn’t email me directly back, but instead finally emailed me requesting a picture of my ID and cc used, sans the first 12 digits. EXCUSE me? I already agreed to this long arse agreement, and instead of shipping to my place of work, as I do with all my other online shopping, I agreed to ship it to the billing address. Apparently because they have experienced fraud they now require that ID and CC as a precaution. well, why not request it right after CHARGING my cc? And seeing that the charge went through and stuck. why is it only when I emailed them, that they bothered to tell me they need the picture of my ID and CC before they’d ship out? Does that mean if I never contacted them, that they’d never tell me that, and that I’d never get my stuff shipped but they STILL were holding my money? I mean it is a couple hundred here. Tip for you, seeing as how I worked retail before and know about chargebacks, if you limit your customer to having the addresses match(billing and shipping) and you take their cc# and the code on the back. you’re pretty much covered as long as you ship with confirmation, prefer sig one, if there is an attempt to do a charge back. per VISA and MC, they don’t even need those to match, only AMEX. It is bad practice to ask for someone to give something as personal as a picture of ID and CC – 10 days after having already charged their card, and ONLY when that client reached out first. again, do not know how to run a business.

RSVP gallery is THESHOP in the US. Think Colette. It’s our version. Top notch products, Givenchy, Just Don, Air Jordans, etc. Also service is exemplary. Easy is the coolest dude. Visited a few weeks ago and was welcomed into the store. Something you don’t get when visiting stores like that out in LA. Great experience. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Chicago. Yo Easy, hit me up when you get that SD Padres Just Don cap! Preferably navy with white snakeskin!

Rendez-vous Si’l Vous Plait Gallery is simply amazing! Those that understand the rarity of some the brands they carry can attest to this. Some of the items carried you wouldn’t be able to find at any other retail store in the nation! INTHENATION! Chicago is truly lucky to have this store! This is a High-End Boutique not an art gallery in the traditional sense; and anyone reviewing this shop based on that ignorance is not reviewing this shop but only exposing their lack of knowledge to those that know. With brands like Antonio Murphy & Astro, Comme des Garçons, *A Bathing Ape, Kaikai Kiki, Common Projects, Trilly & Truly, Retrosuperfuture, Grey Ant, Medicom this is a Hypebeast kid’s dreamland. This shop is like the Colette & Isetan of the states!

Store was opened by a few owners Don C.(Kanye West’s Manager) Virgil(Kanye West’s Art director) and Marc Moran. Marc is usually in store running the shop. He’s a nice guy knows everything about chicago were to go to shop and eat. Talk to him if your looking for aplace to go. He knows his fashion. Everything from Streetwear to Upscale to stuff people only know in japan. One of the few retailers of Ambush Jewelry in the U.S. Very cool shop. carrys alot of exclusive brands. also carrys bbc ice cream like leaders. Commes Des Garçon is another big one. They also started a inhouse brand that is decent. Also carry original fake. A good store to go to. The display is amazing. Worth the visit just to look at. Louis Vuitton trunks and skate board display are really nice.

R.S.V.P Gallery is top notch. They have a lot of hidden jewels and exclusive stuff you won’t be able to find around Chicago. With brands like Comme de Garçon, Ambush, BBC, Bape, and their own RSVP brand, they have lots to offer. The great thing about RSVP is the people are very friendly. whether you are looking around or looking to purchase the people are there are happy to talk to you about the products or just streetwear and fashion in general. With the well very few places to get these kind of brands, RSVP Gallery ranks high up there.
