My sister went for a biopsy. They botched it up so badly. They hit an artery and could not stop the bleeding for 3 hours. The did all kinds of unspeakable ways to stop the bleeding. They even had to call a surgeon for assistance. When it finally stopped, they patched her up with tons of gauze and sent her home. They never bothered calling her to find out how she is ding.
The procedure was done on a Tuesday. On Friday morning, she woke up and saw blood stains on the bed sheet. she called this place and the person who picked up the phone told her, in a very abrupt and rude tone, that she had to call her own doctor because they are only responsible for the biopsy and nothing else. My sister had to strongly insist that she be connected to the doctor (Dr. Dieschbourg) who did the biopsy. When the doctor came back on the line, she decided to back track and told my sister that it was not an artery, it was a vein and she probably has a problems with clotting (which is totally untrue).
I am hoping that this does not escalate into a bigger health issue for my sister and that she does not have to undergo surgery to correct the mistake this butcher did to her.
