Ryba’s Fudge Shops

This fudge certainly gets the job done if you’re craving something sweet. Ryba’s had a selection of about five different flavors when I went (this particular shop is located in McCormick Place), though as someone with a peanut allergy, I didn’t like that only one of their flavors was nut-​free!
I chose the one non-​lethal option: the oreo flavor. I thought it was yummy because I hadn’t had fudge in a while, but realistically, it was also on the dry side and was pretty expensive — $ 10 for a six-​inch bar of fudge. I’d say it was the equivalent of three portions of dessert.
Overall, I’d recommend stopping by one of these shops (there’s also one in Navy Pier) if you don’t usually eat fudge and want to try something different. But if you’re looking to be blown away by soft, sweet, fudgy goodness, you might be disappointed.
