I love this place. It is a hidden gem from the past. Buy everything you need to make your own pizza at home. We buy the setups and freeze them. We can have awesome, delicious pizzas in 20 minutes. Try it!

How have I not reviewed this place yet? S&T pizza set ups. Simply… perfection! So much fun for a kid sleep over. So much fun for a family party. So much fun for a regular Friday family game night… You each get to make your own pizza however you want them. The crusts are thin, the sauce is superb. The meatball mix is fresh. Love it. All the way, love it.

Was just here for the first time in a long time today, so very disappointed. The staff here is a revolving door of rudeness.(Only stopped because my 97 year old grandfather wanted to stop in, and you can’t argue with that man) Let me first explain why I haven’t been frequenting here the last year. My husband and I found out from a reputable 19th ward source in Feb 2015 that this small business that we visited twice a week for almost 18 years was scamming their employees. Well, not ALL of the employees, just the hard working deli women who get our pizza set ups and bag our goods. Paid under the table and below minimum wage, these women are entitled to be rude from time to time. Their lack of smiles is not why we stopped shopping there. My husband and I are also small business owners and abide by the law and make monetary sacrifices to provide a decent wage for our employees. We cannot respect any business, especially in our very own neighborhood that doesn’t do the same. We have been trying to spread the word about the shady practices of this mom and pop shop for months now. Every community event we go to, it is a topic of discussion. You can’t attend anything involving Mt. Greenwood/Beverly without S&T Provisions coming up. 111th St. is something we should be proud of as a community, they have made the way they run their business a disgrace. We plan on addressing Alderman O’Shea the first chance we get. Please consider shopping elsewhere. Ask the women who work there yourself. My husband did today, and the candor he got from these women was amazing.

Love love love this place! My parents have been going here as long as I can remember so naturally my brother, sister and I have been going there and passing on the tradition to our kids. Everything is great! I moved about an hour away and make the trip every couple of months and stock up. The pizza set ups freeze great as well as everything else I’ve bought there. I like to buy the mini pizzas for my kids sleepovers… they enjoy making their own pizzas with their friends. I’m a good cook and have had people tell me numerous times I need my own restaurant… With that being said I’d like to say I don’t know why other reviewers are calling it freezer food. Yes, a lot of it freezes beautifully but it definitely is better than an encore meal. It makes a delicious weekday dinner possible in between my kids busy sports schedule when I only have 20 minutes and it’s priced fairly. I’ve been there I’m sure over 100 times in my lifetime and the staff has always been great. 90% of the time they are swamped and may be less chatty and just trying to get the line moving but have never been rude. They are just trying to get you your order and move onto the next person in line. I don’t know about anyone else but I’d rather get my stuff and get moving rather than sit there chatting about the weather and having them make you feel warm and fuzzy. They’re too busy to kiss your *ss people, get over it!

I have been getting the pizza setups for years. They are great for when I’m watching the family kids because they get to make the pizza themselves. These pizzas are delicious. We get the deep dish set up with sausage and it’s only $ 15. For three large pizzas. Great for sleepovers

I love the Irish Garlic sausages. I drive very far from western suburbs to S & T’s to pick up several pounds of irish garlic and pizza puffs. I have not tried the set-up pizza yet, but will have to.

I had their roast beef and mosataccoli that someone brought to a party and I really liked it awhile ago. I just visited it for the first time with my sister in law today — she had never been there either. The staff was VERY rude. Two different women took our order and when we told them our orders were together they both very obviously rolled their eyes and acted like we had demanded the world from them. Especially since I had told the woman it was my first time there you would think she would want to make sure I had a good experience. Nope. Very snobby. When we got to my sister in laws house we told my brother what happened. He wondered why we hadn’t just walked out. Well we’re fat and didn’t think of that but I wish we had. We regret spending our time and money on half decent freezer food. Don’t go. Not worth it.

So a few years ago we go to my Nephew’s house and his Son is making a Pizza, he is 3 or 4 years old, the pizza goes in the oven 15 – 20 min later we are eating one of the best pizzas we have ever eaten, they tell us It’s a pizza set up, a what? My Husband is a pizza fanatic, so we go and get a 3pack sausage set up, I make it with a few additional ing.(no need) ITWASABSOLUTELYSUPERB, my kids love it, everyone that has ever tried it wants to know where it came from, Just had 2 this weekend and my Hubby ate 1 by himself, Thanks S&T we love you and will spread the word and your pizza to everyone we know…

The staff here is rude and the food is all freezer food that while a cut above the freezer section is not really worth making the extra effort to get here. The meatballs were mediocre as was the marinara sauce. Unless you have been going here since you were a kid, there is no reason to come here unless you want to check out the cool neon sign. Careful out front. There is a speeding camera. Not worth the trip.

Neighborhood places like these are a snapshot of the past. It is everything I remember for the past 40 years. If you don’t like this place you don’t like pizza. Embrace it for all its worth. I love the pizza set ups, the home made sausages of every kind, and the meat ball mix.

I love S&T pizza set ups. In case you don’t have the directions, here they are. Pre-heat a pizza stone at 400 degrees. Pop it in the oven for 18 minutes. If you are using a regular baking sheet, no need to pre-heat. Cook it for 18 – 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

I have been eating this pizza for as long as I could remember. The sauce, the cheese, the sausage and the pepperoni are still GREAT, just like I remember. I usual get the mini cheese pizza setups. I saw in the freezer they sell pumpkin ravioli and I am a PUMPKINLOVER.

Pizza Setups! I didn’t even know they sold anything else until last year, haha! Get some sliced Italian beef from the deli and rip it and scrunch it into little hunks with some hot giardiniera and put it on the pizza. You will thank me later.

Mmmmmmeatballs! they sell a mix here that is so delicious. We(actually, my husband) make spaghetti & meatballs fairly often, and we always get the ingredients from S&T’s.(Then you can make sandwiches the next day!) The prices are reasonable, too. Expect crowds, this place is popular.

What S&T offers is something unique in today’s world. I speak of the«mini pizza set ups.» You can get sausage or pepperoni with your set ups — both are very good. Everyone really enjoys making their own pizza and tossing it in the oven — about 12 minutes and YUM! While the kids don’t care for it I toss some sliced onions and green peppers on my mini-pizza. You can’t go wrong trying this place out. But don’t be surprised as it’s not the biggest place and it’s not the fanciest place. Additionally some of the workers«appear» not to be all that happy(maybe they are just focused on their jobs). Regardless, I still give the place 5 stars as I haven’t found anywhere else that offers something so fun and delicious!
