Ordered from grubhub. Pastor Burrito was tasty. Coworker order tacos. She liked the carne Asada and Al pastor. Didn’t like the carnitas taco. Boss also liked pastor burrito. Good and cheap. Be back soon.

This was the first time I was ever upset with tacos :(I grub hubbed from here last week. I ordered a steak taco dinner, chicken tamales, and a mini quesadilla. I couldn’t even finish the tacos, THATNEVERHAPPENSWITHME. The only thing I enjoyed was the mini cheese quesadilla. Such a bummer. /:

We ordered online from them(she used her Unilocal account to do so!). So, being from Cali, I’m always concerned with having good food from taquerias, they were a staple of my diet back home. I could just load up on tacos and enjoy life. Now, being a vegetarian, its typically a bit harder to enjoy tacos since understandably, if you’re a small taqueria, you aren’t thinking of catering to vegetarians in any special way beyond burritos. I accept this as my fate. Now, Salsa & Chips has some good vegetarian options for being so tiny. The enchilada was great, the taco was simple with avocado in it, and tostada. Great, wholesome taqueria food that I could enjoy with a decent side of beans and rice. Another part I pick on is the salsa and chips, and since it’s the places namesake, I was hopeful. I’m the kind who likes things spicy as hell, which this salsa was not, but it was flavorful with a slight build up spice that was more than good enough. I know we’ll be buying here again, it was easy on pick up, and they seemed like a nice local business which I take pride in enjoying.

I carry out from Salsa & Chips at least once a week, and I have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, and the food is always fresh and consistently good. Plus, you get a large quantity for the price. I’d recommend it!

Pleasantly surprised by this place! I went in on a Friday night and there were no other customers. The menu is pretty basic with tacos/burritos, etc. I ordered a taco dinner for myself and my wife, along with chips and guac. The guac was actually VERY fresh and homemade. The kitchen is right in front and you can see the cook making your food. I had a steak, chorizo and chicken. All tasted fresh and not greasy. Tortillas are not homemade, but also do not fall apart as soon as you take your first bite. My wife also really liked her three chicken tacos. Overall, great spot for a quick takeout. I imagine I’ll be trying other Mexican restaurants in the Albany Park area, but this was a great start!

Disgusting! The chicken tasted like fish and the beef like pork. Dry old cilantro and refrigerated soggy tomatoes complimented the taste of food that belonged in the garbage can(or diaper) perfectly.

Stopped in to grab a quick taco before a party so I didn’t show up starving. This definitely hit the spot. Love the brightly colored walls and great customer service. And I got to watch some soccer while I waited. Win.

Delicious chilaquiles! Ordered some for delivery this mornimg and they definitely hit the spot. Service was quick too, got here in about ½ hour which was surprising because Grubhub orders usually take and hour at least. Their horchata is also pretty amazing. Will be ordering from here again soon.

Amazing carne asada! The salsas are great and the fact that they have Mexican coke is cool. I really loved the guacamole and the rice with my carne asada, check this place out!

There are many Mexican restaurants in Albany Park. Most are good but some stand out. Salsa and chips stands out for many reasons. You are greeted with a friendly smile. The delivery is fast and of course the food is very tasty. I tried the huge chicken burrito and ate the whole thing. I suggest you check it out. I crawled out stuffed and the walk home helped my digestion. If you like authentic Mexican. I highly recommend Salsa and Chips. Kimball and Montrose.
