Schneider Gallery

Large format photo prints currently dominate the offerings at this River North gallery. The space is modest, but enough wall area to display the works of two or three photographers. The office area is right near the door, so you can ask about what is on exhibit; the staff were friendly and helpful.
Currently on view through early May are the works of Guillermo Srodek-​Hart (highly detailed shots of craft work spaces) and Kevin Malella (large-​format urban and industrial landscapes). I read about these in a recent New City review:
When we were there, I spotted on a back wall a few items that were held over from a past exhibit by Res/​Constanza Piaggio (see the gallery’s listing of represented artists:
). This space was a good find; one that my photographer friend had not been aware of.
