Scott Szybowicz, PGA Golf Pro

Four of us are taking lessons with Scott at Diversey Driving Range, and we are all basically beginners. Two of us are brand new golfers and the other two are returning to golf after years off the course.
Scott has a great demeanor for instruction, patient and attentive to each of us. His instruction is easy to understand, and importantly memorable and repeatable during practice in between lessons.
I’m giving Scott four stars for now because we’ve only just begun lessons — I’ll update as we get further along in our instruction.
OK — so I promised an update — and I’m bumping Scott up to 5 stars. The four of us made it through July and then three continued into August. In addition to our weekly lessons, we did a morning out in Deerfield focused on putting and chipping. All around we have enjoyed our lessons with Scott. We all need more work, but we’ve made great progress and have lots of techniques to work on for the remainder of the summer and fall.
