Sebastien Grey Clothiers

So my experience started out great, with my initial fitting ridding me of all doubt and uncertainty. I was expected an excellent suit like the ones in the picture. After all, the fitting was very thorough. Came back in for my fitting and the pants were much too small, the shoulders too large, and the suit itself indistinguishable from a cheap China-​made suit (with the exception of the buttons – the were colored nicely and unusually). Come remake time, they are very picky about timing… seems like they’re putting me off so they don’t have to deal with me. Well I paid over 500 bucks, so I want what I ordered. I shouldn’t expect to come in at absurd times when they’ve already messed up my order. Would stay away. just either spend a little more, or buy MTM online. NOT Sebastien Grey.

My wife purchased for me a Gilt City voucher for two suits as I took a new position that required them. I hadn’t bought suits in over five years. The old ones I did have didn’t fit too well (based on weight loss), so I wanted to buy two new suits that fit properly. Josh didn’t put any pressure on me to customize with higher end fabrics and actually suggested that I get a couple of standard suits for now. I could always get the really high end fabrics down the road. I’ll have to say that the standard fabrics I selected were very high quality and better than most anything you get off the rack unless the rack you’re shopping is three times more expensive. I also purchased five shirts and all garments fit perfectly the first time without any alterations. Josh was a great help in helping me pick out exactly what I needed. I’ll definitely return here in the future.

I learned of Sebastien Grey because I get my haircuts at Halo and they are located in the same space.
I met with Joshua to inquire about having my wedding tuxedo tailor made. He made the process super easy and fun, giving me a bunch of different options to fit my budget. I could not be happier with the service and the final product.
I’ve been to other custom clothiers and nobody comes close to these guys when it comes to service and style

I was very pleased with the suit Josh made for me. At the initial appointment, he helped me choose from a VERY wide variety of materials and customization (lapels, linings, etc.). The options were overwhelming at first, but he tailored the decision to my needs (work and after-​work social events) and have it fit into my overall wardrobe plan. I got the suit after 6 weeks of waiting. At the fitting, I was pleasantly surprised by how well-​made the suit was and how good it made me look. I will definitely recommend Josh and Company to men who seek to look their best without emptying their pockets for some off-​the-​rack, expensive brands that don’t necessarily fit them as well as made-​to-​measure suits from Sebastien Grey.

As a shorter guy who is no longer the same physique as my high school self, I wanted to go custom to try and have a suit actually fit everywhere. I only wish I did it sooner.
So when I made the financial leap into custom, I found it wasn’t terribly far off from getting an off the rack suit and making massive alterations that only got me to 80% of where I wanted to go. Sure — it was more — but I actually like the way I look in the custom suit.
As a guy that over-​researches everything, I decided to get 1 suit from Sebastien Grey, Tom James, Suit Supply, etc. and take them for a test drive. After doing so, I found the combo of SB and Joshua to be the best all-​around experience. ZERO pressure, highly knowledgeable and informative. The suit looks great and I get constant compliments. Pricing was reasonable and I wish I did it sooner and will be a returning customer.

I wear suits about 3 – 4 times a week, and have purchased suits from just about every brand possible, including Broni, Kiton, etc, and have had suits made in HK and London overseas. I am must admit, SG and Josh have done a tremendous job replicating the quality and styling available from all over the world at a reasonable price.
The best part of the suit is unique inner lining that they can put inside. always great tremendous compliments from CEO and Board members on that in particular.

Josh does excellent work here. I caught a Gilt City special they ran and walked away with two VERY NICE custom suits. I would recommend this spot to anyone. Both suits turned out perfect and didn’t even need a second round of alterations. I think they took about 2 – 3 weeks to turn around which is almost unheard of.
They have a nice selection of fabrics across the entire price spectrum. If you need a good suit fast, this place is your spot.
I will definitely be back.

My experience with Joshua at Sebastien Grey was incredible. The wide selection of quality of materials, along with Joshua’s experienced eye for detail, made for a beautiful custom suit that was delivered on time and fit like a glove!

File under half way there: I recently had a consultation with Geoff at the Madison Ave. location. The experience in «building» my suit was great. I’ve had one suit made in the past, but by no means am I a custom expert. Geoff and I spoke about my preferences in an informal manner, and I think he quickly understood what I liked and didn’t like. When i needed a little help, or was unsure, Geoff was able to guide me in a manner that made me feel as though he only cared about getting the suit right for me. i really appreciated that.
SG has a wide variety of fabrics, and depending on your budget, you could certainly go all out. I picked a fabric that was a step up from their standard. For the cost, I thought it seemed like it was far beyond what I would otherwise expect for an off the rack suit.
I’ll update this after I receive the finished product, but based on some of the examples I saw, I’m sure I’ll be pleased.
