Skyline Heating & Air

Mike came and checked my furnace and was very helpful, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Will definitely be calling Skyline again for all my heating and air needs.

From the first call, Mike was not only helpful, knowledgeable and flexible but he was extremely personable as well. I have used other services in the past to do a HVAC and hot water heater inspection and no one did what Mike did. Other companies spend about 5 — 10 minutes looking at the furnace, change the filter and leave. Not Mike — he did a deep clean and inspection of both units for a very reasonable price.
The best part is that I will never have to call another heating and air company again, Mike is the best out there.

My husband and I called Skyline Heating and Air after seeing an ad in our parish reader. Our furnace wasn’t turning on and we had a well known HVAC service come out to take a look. The technician told us we needed a $ 640.00 repair to replace a circuit board and this was in addition to the $ 95.00 service call!
This is what is considered «competitive pricing» after calling the well know HVAC service to ask for an explanation. Needless to say, we won’t be calling back… EVER.
To try and save some money, we bought the part ourselves ($ 131.00 on line) and had it installed but our heat was still not turning on!
We called Skyline and Mike McGuigan was out to our place within 20 minutes of hanging up the phone.
Mike told us we didn’t need anything but a new thermostat!!! He replaced the thermostat and cleaned our furnace for less than $ 120.00!
After replacing a $ 131.00 circuit board that was perfectly fine and then paying for a $ 95.00 service charge, I guess things could have been worse. Mike saved our day and saved us a lot of money!!!
It’s hard to choose a HVAC company that you can trust, just like with cars or appliances, etc. You want to deal with someone who’s going to be honest and efficient, and not charge you the big company «competitive pricing».
Mike was honest and a good person, he provided us with great service. We now have him permanently on our contact list!
