This review is based on the bar. Girls night out we decided to meetup at Skyway Lanes. There’s this cute bar inside, clean and with a nice scenery. The owners and staff were welcoming and friendly. Drink prices were inexpensive. Jean(bartender) was very accommodating and made good cocktails with a smile:) She was even open to new drink ideas. Live band(every 3 or 4 wk). Definitely worth the drive and returning. Thanks for the good experience.

I like this place. I come here during my lunch hour and crack some billiards, its very reasonable at $ 5 /hour. The tables have seen better days, but they are large enough to practice on for my APA games. The bowling lanes are usually filled with older black people who say funny things to each other like, «You may be talkin to me Randy, but I ain’t listenin!’ or «Take that back before you cause a heart attack!» Then they all crack up simultaneously. I love that. It seems this place was built in the 70’s and that’s the last time anyone mentioned anything about upgrades. I have never tried the food although they do have it here, I am sure I will try it eventually. My review is really more for the pool room, which is so epic. Have you guys ever seen the movie«Dead Presidents»? Its like the pool room in that movie, with James Brown playing, ex Vietnam vets, lots of cursing Although I will stick to my 2−4PM weekday games, I imagine it can get pretty crazy on a Saturday night.

one word RETIREMENTHOME! Barely any oil and run by non bowlers equals a huge ass disaster! other than that the place opens late, the employees show up late and they close early EVENONTHEWEEKENDS. As far as the customer service, I’m not sure they even know what that means.

Avoid this place at all cost if you’re a bowler. They never have oil the lanes for open bowl.

Where I grew up, bowling alleys were cheap, unpretentious, and friendly. I have little patience for the silly frills of Lucky Strike or 10 Pin, or the insane wait times of Rock ‘n Bowl. I went to Skyway Lanes with a few friends on Saturday night and found exactly what I was looking for. The prices were dirt cheap, the wait was nonexistent, and everyone was friendly as could be. If you’re looking for a good old fashioned bowling alley, hop in your car and head down to Skyway.
