This place is a little bit of heaven when looking for a quick snack or ice cream. They have the basics for snacks, candy, drinks, chips, fruit, to go lunches and breakfast. There is a soda machine with over 100 flavor combos in it. They also have a coffee shop and hot pizza and ice cream section if you want something fresh and not in a package. They are open until 11pm which is great when you need something in the hotel and don’t want to run out to grab it. The only downside is the price for the convenience. How about $ 6 for a small bag of pop chips. Otherwise, great little find!

The entire family was happy we were able to find Snax on the way from the Museum Campus to the Magnificent Mile. You do need to enter Hilton to get to Snax. A bit of everything for every taste. Gelato favors from standard strawberry to more exotic Straciatella and Hazelnut with Pretzel. A lineup of fresh fruits, Starbucks coffee, a couple of hot soups, sandwiches and salads in the cooler. Not brimming with character, but quite convenient. A couple of softer more comfortable armchairs for the weary tourist, a flatscreen with sports scores for those who must know them.

At 12:45 pm, «sorry, sir, the panini’s aren’t ready» is pretty ridiculous, especially when it’s half your menu… The Hilton didn’t score so well in it’s food offerings across the board, in my experience

Not a bad little snack bar inside a hotel. Cup of soup for a lite supper was $ 6, about what I have paid at a café.

The small snack bar that is off the lobby of the Hilton Chicago. I believe they’re open all night so that’s probably why they dont have mini bars in the rooms. Good for hydrating and munchies after a night of drinking. Beware though, you will pay for the price of convenience.
