South Loop Endoscopy & Wellness Center

I hate going to the doctors and most specialists are harder to get into than the French Laundry. However, not the case with South Loop Endoscopy & Wellness Center! I was referred here by the doctors at the ER and my future mother in law.
The practice is located not far from the McCormick Center Green Line in a residential/​industrial area. Yes, weird location, but they do provide FREE valet for their patients! In addition, they’ve a café for their patients so they can get a free pastry and coffee. FYI… the coffee and pastry is only for the patients not family. sorry Mom no free pastry for you.
Besides the great perks they provide their patients, their service is pretty damn great! I was able to easily schedule appointments on the weekends and during the weekdays. Last time I went to a specialist it had to be booked 2.5 months prior… yikes! Dr. Chau and his staff are attentive, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Chau really cares for his patients and makes sure all of your questions are answered. It also helps the Dr. Chau has jokes, so each appointment isn’t so serious. They also accept several different insurance carriers and his billing team is easy to work with. When I tried asking my insurance company about my coverage it was like they were speaking Latin. SLE&WC was able to breakdown my insurance for me and tell me exactly what insurance will cover.
Dr. Chau and SLE&WC is an amazing practice! If you need a GI doctor then this place is where to go!
