They have everything you need and more. Friendly professional staff. Sure it costs a bit more than Marianos or Jewel but it’s easy to get to.

People that work here are very nice. Hours are convenient and they have most everything you could ask for when you need to make that late night run for something you forgot to pick up at the supermarket, or need to make that last minute rum run. Sandwich shop is the bomb-​diggity as well!

*You had me at Boar’s Head*
Soo sometimes you have to ask yourself — is it worth making a wee bit extra for the things I’m in a bind for and sometimes that answer is yes. South Loop Market has a little of everything — and this time, they had some fresh garlic for me just in the nick of time!
Soo I decided to peruse a bit and just do some comparison. There are some items that are much higher than one would like to pay but some aren’t too bad especially considering it is a market. The store is clean, the owner/​manger was super sweet AND they have Boar’s Head meat. I’ll be back for that alone. If you haven’t had boar’s head, what are you waiting on. From my understanding, a lot of higher end grocery stores carry it and the fact my local market has it, is pure awesomeness!
Oh and the hours are fantastic! I’ll be back and probably more often then I should be.

Newly opened. Great beer selection. I love that they offer boars head deli sandwiches to order. We’ve been there 3 times to pick up lunch. I recommend the roast beef special.
