I was looking for a place for a reasonably priced couples massage. I had a grupon that prompted me to go. I wasn’t expecting much becase the cost was so much less than I was seeing elsewhere, but my boyfriend and I ended up loving the massages from Juan and Susan. We’ve been back several times. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, clean, low key massage then this is your place.

I had a groupon, so based on the reviews of others, I expected to have a horrible massage and experience overall, and was already writing the bad review in my head and preparing to ask for a refund on my groupon. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised.
First I will say that like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, I did call a few times without getting called back, and the first time I got through, the receptionist did come across as slightly impatient on the phone. However, when I was in there waiting for my massage, the phone never stopped ringing! At one point the receptionist had at least four people on the line! So seeing it from that perspective, he did a great job (if it were me I would’ve snapped). When the phone finally stopped ringing, we had a great conversation, and he was very polite and friendly. And my massage was good for the price. I had Liz, she was very sweet. Yes, I heard noise from the next the room and the hallway like some others have mentioned, but it didn’t bother me.
So not a perfect experience, so not five stars. But definitely not as bad as I expected from all the other reviews.
FYI, the door was locked when I got there. If no one is at the desk to buzz you in, ring the doorbell.

I used a Groupon for a massage here today and had a fantastic experience. Andy was attentive and thorough and the spa is trendy and clean inside. I arrived promptly for my appointment and was seen as soon as I arrived. I will definitely be coming back!

I really enjoyed my massage at this spa. This is the first spa I have been to since recently moving to Chicago and I don’t think I need to look any further. The receptionist was very polite and professional, the place was very cozy and chic, I was able to bring my 8 month old daughter in the room with me while being massaged and most importantly my massage felt great!!! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and wonderful massage experience!

Great experience while using my Groupon. Liza was kind, friendly and applied great pressure during my Swedish massage. If I had to complain at all it would be about the padded face holder was uncomfortable for me and the room cooled down at some points. My fault really because I never spoke up.

Christina (sorry if I might have spelled it incorrectly) from SpaForever is amazing at her work… I searched and researched for several months looking for an amazing nurse for Botox. I am delighted to have come across her name from a few of my clients. She listened to all my concerns and explained to me what I needed to know. My expectation were far more than what I expected… The staff is pretty great too! If anyone is looking to do Botox and is hesitant Christina is the girl for you!

This place is the least professional spa in Chicago. They NEVER answer their phones, you can’t book online, and when you finally do book they cancel! Asking for my money back on a groupon immediately, this place is terrible.

I used a Groupon deal for a 60 minute Swedish Massage. My massage therapist was Daniella. She started on time and gave me privacy to undress in the room. There is a nice closet for all of your clothes, bags, shoes etc. She knocked and asked if she could enter. She asked me if there were any trouble areas and I told her so she could focus on them. She did a fantastic job and I felt great at the end! She offered me water at the conclusion of the massage. Once I had dressed she was waiting outside for me; she asked me how I felt, and reminded me to drink lots of water afterward and to do some stretches at home.
The reason I can only give this 4 stars is because of the noise level in the facility. I could clearly hear a washing machine and dryer running which became loud at certain times and buzzed once when it had finished the cycle. Also, the room I was in had a paper thin wall — and when I got up after the massage I realized it was actually an accordion door (basically a paper door) which is probably used so you can remove the wall for couple’s massages etc. But I was completely able to hear when my neighbor started her massage and I could hear it as loud as if they were in the same room (because we basically were). I did not allow it to interfere with my relaxation but it definitely could deter some customers from the full effect of a relaxing massage. Overall I would recommend this establishment but I do so because it is affordable and the massage therapist was wonderful.

BEWARE! Watered Down Botox. Made mistake of going here twice (and being over charged each time). Botox never worked. Owner (?) Cristina Rodriguez Is rude and lacks any customer service skills or manners. DON’T WASTE YOUR $ HERE

I had a massage with a lady at SpaForever. Here’s my experience:
— they put some kind of bag over your head or a to we that feels like a bag
— she uses gloves (some type of paper gloves) that feel like sandpaper
— I was lubed up to a point I thought I was going through a slip n slide with NOT massage oil. You cannot call that massage oil. It was KY Jelly
— the «massage therapist» who tapped me occasionally was texting half the time
— you cannot call that a massage, it was just someone tapping me occasionally
— they don’t knock on the door, she just bursts in, does not ask what you want massaged or what’s wrong
Please don’t expect the traditional massage you think you will get unless this is your 1^st one and you don’t know what to expect

Spa forever has a wonderful atmosphere and pleasant staff. There is always a smiling face greeting you when you arrive. the massage rooms are clean, serene and smell amazing! I have received 3 deep massages and they feel amazing. I have had 2 different therapist and each were skilled and receptive to feedback about pressure.

I had a great experience at Spa Forever. I was running late but they were flexible and understanding. In the short time I had remaining in my Swedish massage, Juan used just the right amount of pressure and tended to troublesome areas that needed the most work. Highly recommend!

My husband bought me a Groupon for laser hair removal. This place was GREAT! The receptionist was friendly and polite. The place was clean and chic. The back service room areas were a more relaxing décor. Susan who did the service was very helpful in answering my questions and made the process easy and stress free.

Haven’t even made it in for the actual service I purchased because my appointment gets canceled, and then they don’t have anything for over a month at a time. I was offered no help is getting an appointment. Don’t bother with this place, it’s a complete hassle.

I was given a groupon as a gift for a 60 minute Swedish massage with aromatherapy. When I booked my appointment I was told I could leave gratuity on my card… I’ll get to that later.
I was a few minutes early for my appointment and was able to get started a few minutes early too, that’s a plus. About five minutes into my massage a woman starts screaming on her phone, like yelling about some machine that needs to be fixed by four o’clock. She yelled for at least five minutes and the man giving my massage did nothing and said nothing. She clearly worked there, all the walls are paper thin and she just kept yelling at the top of her lungs. Huge negative. Some more time passes and I hear the same woman yell a few more times, also every single time the phone rings you can hear it clear as day (as well as every siren, horn honk, you get it). It was not relaxing at all to say the least. My massage was good, nothing extraordinary and was definitely less than 60 minutes and there was zero aromatherapy. When I was leaving the man at the front desk told me their machine had been down all day so I couldn’t leave a tip. I think he should have called everyone who had appointments to at least let them know, or hey how about letting me know before my appointment started. I felt guilty so I started walking down to six corners to find an ATM, but I gave up. It was windy and 9 degrees outside. On my treck through the snow and wind I reflected on my otherwise non relaxing, non aromatherapy, non 60 minute massage and decided I wasn’t going back.
I would recommend going here if it’s your absolute last resort, I’m thankful my boyfriend purchased this at a discounted price through groupon and didn’t pay the full price for the service.

SpaForever customer service is beyond disrespectful. Staff is rude especially at the receptionist area. I initially went for a couple’s massage and never received that. The spa over booked their appointments for the day and my husband and I received individual massages. The receptionist never said anything about the misunderstanding until I brought it to her attention. The receptionist proceeds to say I can give you a compliment massage for the inconvenience. Let’s be clear she never explained anything so I made the appointment to come back.
The second visit I never received a confirmation or reminder call for my appointment. I called them to confirm and make sure everything would be a better experience. The receptionist this day was a rude and obnoxious young male. To my surprise the experience couldn’t get any better because I was told that the massage would be an hour however the therapist left the room for a total of 15minutes before returning to start our massages! We received subpar massages that lasted 30 minutes. We were given poor service and treatment because SpaForever dropped the ball.
I will not be returning or recommending SpaForever to anyone. I chose them because it’s in the neighborhood and wanted to support businesses in the area.
