St Pascal School

Great carnival but kinda disappointed that they don’t do wrist bands on Friday, kind of a rip off guys I have 3 kids! It’s a family affair.

I am an alum of St. Pascal School, and I am now happy to be sending my children there. My older daughter is in first grade and my younger daughter is in part-​time pre-​school. The pre-​school options are particularly flexible, as you can choose from half-​day or full-​day, and 2-​day, 3-​day or 5-​day schedules. We’ve had wonderful experiences with the teachers and staff, and my girls have already made some lifelong friends. Not only are my girls achieving academically, but they are learning important lessons about respect, service, and love for themselves and one another.

My six year old is been going to St Pascal since s three years old, she did half day prek two years and kindergarten, and now she is in first grade. She loves the school. We Love the school. teachers, and stuff. Small classrooms, when each child matters and gets personal attention from teachers make a huge difference, and hats why we picked St Pascal over other schools!

I absolutely love this school. As a transplant from Arizona, we had a hard time deciding if the Public schools were right for us here. After a year there, we decided that we wanted a faith based education for both my children was the best. The principal is very understanding and actually listened to us when we approached her with what we wanted for both our kids. She agreed and indicated that the parents know what’s best for their child and she worked with us. I have a 5^th grader and a 3^rd grader who love this school. On top of that, we love the church so we became members and enjoy participating and making this more part of our lives. You will not be disappointed. I actually compared the Teranova scores and learned that St. Pascal kids scored much higher when compared to other Catholic schools. All of last years, 8^th graders got accepted into Loyola, St. Pats, Fenwick, and many got into Lane Tech. That is very impressive for sure.

Not only did Francis Cardinal George attend this school, but this is the first school in the midwest to implament the PeaceBuilders program. My two boys have been attending this school for four years and Im very pleased with the the small class sizes that help provide a higher quality of education. I could not be more pleased! Thank you St. Pascal for teaching my boys the importance of respect and violence prevention which provides them with a safer environment.

CLASS OF 84 IN THE HOUSE!
I spent many of my formative years growing up here, attending from 1^st to 8^th grade. I believe that the education I received here help me become the person I am today. There were so many great teachers. We even had a few nuns that totally scared us. It was also a time that it was acceptable to get cracked with a ruler. All you had to do was get out of line once and you never did it again.
I was even an alter boy at the church. There were some great benefits. You could get out of class for the 8:30am mass or a 10am funeral. That was a nice break. The 7am mass was not fun though. I always hated seeing that on the schedule.
I received all my sacraments here and had an amazing funeral mass for my Mom here. She would have loved that mass.
The church is very dark and stoic. It is the third building for the church and was finished in 1932. There are many Spanish design influences in the church because St Pascal was from Spain. He also lived during the 1500’s. When you are driving down Irving Park Road, you can see the giant tower rising high in the neighborhood. It is very iconic. I was very fortunate to be around such an incredible building.
Thanks to all of the valuable life lessons I learned. St Pascal school was a great place to learn how to be a kind person.
