I’m taking back one star because of two occurrences during my patronage.
One, please do not dry clean my scarf, get a spot on it and then fold it so you think I won’t notice.
I’ve returned since they semi ruined my favorite scarf because things happen and I’ll live. Just admit it. Make a note. Mention it.
Two, asked for one of the buttons on my coat to be repaired along with a cleaning of the coat.
Coat cleaned, button still broken.
I returned for them to fix their error with no problem. They’re a neighborhood business and I’m all for supporting them, but they are starting to slip a bit.
And I even bring my hangers back to be eco-​friendly and resourceful…

UPDATE JUNE 23, 2010: Be well, Boris and Michael! We shall miss you and wish you happiness and good fortune. I have no idea who my next dry cleaner will be, and lament that I have lost you to the ravages of the dry cleaning economy.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love Boris and Michael. I’ve been a faithful customer since 1994 and they’ve never done me wrong. Everything done as and when I need it and always professionally and never a problem. Like the first reviewer, I believe in supporting my community businesses, but this one is an easy pick because they’re also the best of the lot. If you’ve got some time, ask Boris about his most recent travels… always fascinating.
