No, I do not want chips and a drink. Ask me before you add these on, so I don’t accidentally pay for all this added stuff and when I order a sandwich, I want to get charged for the sandwich I bought, not the most expensive one on the menu. This happens constantly. I would rather travel 5 minutes out of my way then go to this location again.

4 years from the last review and it has not improved. The owners and employees are rude. I only go there when it’s absolutely necessary but I am happy to walk elsewhere for food. They are always rushing you to get your sandwich but the worst part is how pushy they are with upselling. There is never a time that they don’t try to literally put cookies in the bag and want to charge you without you asking for them. While chain«restaurants» are not my thing, it is annoying to go through this every time.

It’s Subway. That’s it. But it is my LOCAL Subway and therefore deserves heaping and lavish praise. For my $ 5.00 plus tax, a footlong is always a good deal. This proved to be an excellent place to interview a job candidate who was flop sweating, but really nice, although unfortunately I couldn’t afford to hire hm…

I’m guessing that this place is. hmm, how do I say it nicely. «frugal» with their veggies and condiments because their rent is a bit high. But really, do I care? No. Not my problem. Putting 5 olive segments and 4 tomato slices on a 12″ sandwich is not acceptable. People shouldn’t have to ask for a little bit more, a little bit more, a little bit more to end up with tomatoes across the length of a sandwich — and I’m not even talking about them overlapping. I would have given them 1-star, but to be fair, $ 2.50 for a 6″ sub, even if it is only the daily special, even if it is skimpy on the toppings, is still a steal in the downtown area.

The owner and his family that run this place are some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. One time they charged me $ 5.05 for a sandwich, and then charged me $ 5.80 for the EXACT same sandwich the next day! Since it was only 75 cents, it wasn’t a big deal. So as I pulled out another dollar to cover this extra charge(the young man behind the counter saw this), I kindly inquired what the difference was from the day before. His response was that if I didn’t like it I could go somewhere else! WTF? I totally thought it was perfectly legitimate to ask this. He saw the extra dollar, so obviously, it wasn’t like it was going to stop me from buying a friggin sandwich. His nasty response and tone led me to lean over the counter, grab my money back out of his hands, and go across the street to Jimmy John’s. WILLNEVERSPEND A PENNYOFMYMONEYINTHISPLACEEVERAGAIN. Decent Subway. It’s probably one of the cleanest ones that I’ve ever seen. It’s part of the trifecta of sandwich options in the area. I don’t go here that often since I lived off of Subway in graduate school and can only eat it when I’m really craving it. Also, the smell of the baking Subway bread in the parking garage next door makes me want to hurl. It’s worse when the smell is mixed in with the cocoa scent from Blommer’s down the street. Overall, it’s a good sandwich shop when you’re looking for something fast and tasty.
