This place has gotten increasingly weird as the staff has changed — and increasingly unfriendly. On my most recent(and last) visit, the sandwich-maker was pointing to items while holding a conversation with someone else I could not see while making my order. I figured out what was going on when I noticed the white earbuds sneaking up from behind her uniform into her ears. «Are you on the phone right now?» I asked. «Huh» «Are you on the phone right now?» «Yes.» «You’re on the phone while taking my order and making my sandwich.» «Yes.»(Long pause). «Sorry.» Only then did she remove her earbuds. That’s just not right. Last straw after a series of miscues, unless/until a staff/ownership change is made.

So I refused to step foot in this Subway because of one horrible experience after another, but I caved in after about a year and I’m glad I did. They got rid of the staff that was making the place suffer. The staff now is so so SO much better, you might even get greeted or acknowledged! It’s in the clear to eat here again

At times I’ve been here and it’s been an ok experience. The ingredients here definitely don’t taste as fresh as other franchises in the city. There was no one eating in the restaurant so I stopped by after over a year of not eating here only to be stonewalled by employee who wouldn’t make my sandwich until I proved to him that I had cash(apparently the register was broken.) In the end I ordered a footlong meatball sandwich, 2 chips and a drink which the cashier rung me up for $ 13 which puzzled everyone in the restaurant. They didn’t even know the prices of the items in their restaurant! I just paid and left since someone was waiting on me and I didn’t have time for them to figure out the real price(they’d already been cluelessly working on it for 5 minutes.) Won’t be back again.

Not bad but definitely not fresh ingredients whenever I come here. I would like to tell you that staff is pretty nice though and do put a lot of food on your sub’s. Quality is decent but the veggies need to be fresher.

1 star is to much! Way to much. Besides the fact that there’s the dude hunting you to boot your car, the staff of this subway is the worse I’ve seen! This subway is really close to my work and I had to go there for lunch a couple of times. As I said, the staff is very rude, and the top of the things, one of the worker picked his nose in front of me. I had to ask him to stay away from my sandwich, and they start accusing me o racism … Uhm yeah! Stay away from this place! You’ll feel sorry!

I’m meaning to put zero stars but that doesn’t appear to be an option. Talk about the WORST customer service ever. Rude and IMPATIENT while I was trying to order even though there was no one else in the store. Really? Why are you in such a rush? It’s not like people are lined up out the door.

Get your order to go and maybe you can get back to your car before Global Parking has a chance to tow it. Never coming here again.

It’s still Subway– the landlord updated the outside of the building, some tuck pointing and what have ya. nice– New signs, which may be a little too much, but no worse than McDonald’s

Very clean and fresh food. I go here sometimes to pick up breakfast or lunch. Have never had any problems with my order and the employees seem to be on their toes with a smile.

I was hungry and wanted something quick. So I found this Subway and I read the reviews before coming in to this Subway location. They most def stood to their reputation. Very clean, friendly staff, and quick service. Def will be coming back to this location!

I stopped over before work at 7:12am to pick up a sandwich. The door clearly states that it opens at 7:00am and I saw a staff person in there. I knocked and waited and the person did not open the door for me.

I only stop at this location because it’s right by my train stop. This place is horrible. The girl that is there every time I come in is always on her blue tooth talking. I never know if she’s asking me what I want on my sandwich or talking on her phone. Every time I say«excuse me?», she always acts as if I’m interrupting her conversation. Very rude and unprofessional. Until they open a Pot Belly’s or a Jimmy Johns near this location, I’m stuck.

I made a quick stop in and I must say, its very clean and I am always looking for a smile and hello and boy was I pleased. My Sandwich was made quickly and accurately and I was offered to try some cookies«of course I said yes». With a polite thank you for coming, and we’ll see you again soon I ended this quick stop happily. I’m pleased to say I will definitely be visiting this location again soon.

I love subway. i always get the veggie patty or the tuna melt. THEONLYCOMPLAINT i have can go for MOST locations. It’s just a little peeve of mine that needs to be addressed. Now, from years of eating sandwiches I have noticed a trend in the constitution of making a sandwich. First you put the meat, then the cheese and then you top it off with all the veggies, but lately I have notice a lot of subways are doing it all wrong and upside down! They put the meat on the top part of the bread, then the veggies on the bottom. THATDOESN“T MAKESENSE!!! When i bite into a sandwich I want to taste that meat first. You get that nice crunch of the veggies on top as you bite into it. It just doesn’t feel right when the meat is on top of everything. I feel like it’s a violation of sandwich code. There’s a very delicate balance of textures and flavors when it comes to making a sub, and now every time i walk into a subway, I always have to make them put the protein on the bottom, where it belongs, where it always has belonged. Whats up subway? quite makin my sammiches all upside down.

Every time I come here, the service is fast and friendly. The subs are always prepared well and I’ve never seen any trash or dirt or anything like that. Very well kept and enjoyable. The workers are also very nice and have never messed up an order. :)

Although this isn’t my normal Subway it was in the way to where I was going so I stopped. The people that were working were friendly and the place seemed clean but there is not that many tables to sit at and instead there is just one long counter. I usually just get a turkey sub which is the same at every Subway. That is the one thing I like about Subways they are usually always pretty consistent and this one fits the bill.

This is the Subway I hit when on my way to my parents house… and of course this past weekend of the 4th going to the old hood we stopped in here for a quick bite. It needed to be somethig quick and lite! Because we knew once we got to Momma’s we knew we were gonna end up flexing a hell of alot of Carne asada etc… The order: 6in Italian BLT on a Flat bread!(I didnt know theyoffered flat bread) Mayo Tomato onions pickles green peppers Mayo Giardinara It all made a hell of a lite, fresh sammie! PS: This being Logan square the hipster infestation here is very high… almost rampant… where has my old hood gone!!!

Personally I think this is one of the lamest Subways in the city. They put on maybe 2 pieces of meat at best, half a piece of cheese, load it up with lettuce that’s rusty colored and soggy, and no one is ever friendly. When I walk in, they all start yelling at each other for some reason. I know it’s not me. And please, for the love of god, bake those darn cookies 5 minutes longer.

Spicy Italian? Nuff said. And yes, there is always a true«sandwich artist» there. Amazingly enough, the subs always come out looking like the picture. I’m converted. (Please sing along.) 5 5 5 dollar foot longs!!!
