I finally decided to venture into this Subway, since it wasn’t crowded like the other times I was in the area shopping. It’s a real narrow store to begin with so even if there are five customers, it could seem like there is nowhere to stand and wait in line. Well, no one said hello when I walked in, and I ended up waiting at the counter totally ignored by the three employees there. What really bothered me is that when a Hispanic lady and her small child walked over to the register, she was waited on immediately by a Hispanic woman employee. I don’t usually like to say it was because of my race, but I do believe I was ignored because I am white. While I was thinking about that, there was another woman employee wheeling a metal cart of cardboard towards me. The aisle was so narrow I had to completely back up so she could get past me. She didn’t say excuse me or anything. I decided to leave this rude and lame Subway and just go eat at home.

I went in around closing time a few weeks ago with my Fiancée. The two girls working there were both helping this customer out at the register. I went to use the bathroom figuring that by the time I’m out, I would be asked my order. I was wrong. I waited for five more minutes while these two«employees» chatted with a customer. I’ve been to many subways in the city. And this is the first time I wasn’t greeted, or asked for my order within a minute of being there. Finally, the blonde one approached me and asked for my order. I asked for a BMT and she asked for what bread I wanted. I took about 20 seconds to look for the small sign and read her the name of the«hearty Italian» bread. She went on to put away the cookies… And then she asked for the bread again. I told her, «I can’t believe you wouldn’t wait a few seconds for me to give you my order, but I waited about 10 minutes for you to even acknowledge me while you were over there talking to your friend.» She then gave me a blank stare and asked for my order again with a truly visible attitude. I gave her my order. My fiancée then gave his order. He asked her if he could have the«chicken that is spicy on his sandwich». She then added chicken to his sandwich. He corrected her and asked if he could have the other chicken. She raised her voice and grew red. And said, «well you told me to add chicken okay.» And he told her, «no, I asked for the spicy chicken.» And then she said, «well next time, say ‘spicy chicken’». My fiancée is a fit person, he doesn’t eat subway. And this day, he was treating himself to Subway. And this girl with faux blonde hair ruined the meal for us. He then said, «You know what… Forget it. I’m not taking this attitude from you or from anyone.» She said very childishly, «oh okay that fine.» With a huge attitude. We left and had to drive to another Subway. We were treated kindly at the one in Kostner and Armitage. **It took me weeks to write a review because I wanted to know if these two women were still working there. They still are, I still see the faux blonde hair and the other one with the two-toned curly bun with Real 3D glasses.***

Their is a special place in hell for the bad people in the world. Their is a special place in my heart for subway. What? I don’t know. I was trying to be deep, but let’s get real, it’s Subway. Sandwiches are just ok, my boyfriend hates them and says they have NO meat but I can deal with that since i’m a low meat kind of person anyway. Low meat? New phrase. Use it. Cashier guy was nice and nosy but that’s cool.
