When Suite 25 first opened a couple years ago I was so excited for it. Finally I would have a place right around the corner to go to for sports events. I wanted this to be my new spot. But alas Suite 25 is very poorly run/managed. To start with the décor is very bizarre and kind of tacky, which I can dig sometimes but in combination with all the other problems this place has it just compounds the poor experience. Service is spotty at best. Expect a long wait for a beer, a long wait to get your check and an even longer wait just to get your card back. Tables left with clutter and debris are common here and, believe it or not, the food is actually quite expensive. My meal wasn’t bad, but was egregiously overpriced. All and all a pretty terrible place.

This place sucks. Piss warm beer, shitty food, the bartender runs the entire place on his own, and the coke head bar owner shows up with his coke head girlfriends at 1 am and acts like he can dj… DONTGOHERE. if there was an option to give it no stars i soooo would

Not the greatest service and they can’t seem to figure out the TV’s when sporting events are in. March Madness should have taken precedent but they decided to change the channel during every commercial. I had to keep asking to turn the games back on. Food is typical bar food if they have your selection.

The service was terrible. We were at a event where we reserved tables, and it took 45+ minutes to get one drink. We ordered food, and the server came back multiple times to clarify our order, never quite getting it right. The food took over an hour to show up, for just appetizers. We were told there was a drink special — $ 5 for a Jameson shot and a PBR, until we actually ordered it for the 20+ people in our party. They only brought us the shots, and told us there was never such a special. The manager was rude, and the DJ was harassing one of the women in our group when she questioned why they weren’t honoring the special that they told us they were having. This place is flat out ridiculous, and to be avoided.

1. 7 $ Lagunitas IPA. 2. Extemyly slow service, even when empty. 3. 16 $tuna taco and 19 $ tuna steak were salty so you can’t taste anything but salt. My tongue burned from salt. Tuna was terrible. In Tonys Food you will buy better frozen tuna. 4. $ 10 «apple“martini tasted like cheap vodka +sweet and sour+ drop od apple syrup. 5. Cheap interior. Too expensive. Too slow. Too cheap. Too bad. I would pay less in Rocking Horse downstairs for the same(much better) food and great service even without Groupon.

Worst bar ever!!! Two hours for food! 45 minutes for a drink? They kicked patrons out of tables after their order was taken but before they received their meals! When I wanted to talk to the manager they wanted to take me in a back room and talk. How terrifying!!! They also started a drink special then told our party it no longer existed. The supervisor refused to honor his special and then started to tell me «this F**king bartender is going to lose his F**king job» WOW! When would you lose your cool as a manager to say that to a customer! I really wish you could give negative stars! If you like waiting forever for everything this is the place for you!!! Enjoy!

Wanted to watch the Bulls and eat some food. Place has loads of tvs but no idea how to use the remotes. Waitress friendly enough but doesn’t know what she’s doing really. Food takes forever. Wings good but burger not. As the night progressed things got better as new people took over the bar. Turned into a club type atmosphere. They definitely need more work if they want to pull off as a sports bar of any kind.

This place sucks. And that’s probably why I liked it. Ok, in reality, it was more just surreal. You walk up stairs and hear music expecting you’ll be in some shite dance club but it’s a bar. The décor and lights scream some late 90’s baller Vegas club but it’s actually kind of a dive. There was absolutely nobody there expect me and my friend so we bellied up enjoyed Brooklyn Chocolate Stout and some Sixpoint Resin IPA. There was sports on the tube and the crazy furniture wasn’t too distracting. Overall, not a bad stop, although probably only worth it as long as they keep having some decent beers. More of a «we’re in the neighborhood» type of deal than an all night destination.

Service was horrible! We sat for 20 mins before we left! Place needs a mega makeover! They could have had ongoing business from my friends and me but they blew it! Just not very clean and weird vibe! Many other places around!

We ended up at this place after realizing that Rocking Horse was closed for business. We saw the huge projector screen from the street, so we decided to venture upstairs since we were looking for a place to watch Monday Night Football and the Bulls game. Our group of 6 people were the only patrons there for a few hours, a total of 3 other people came in to the bar while we were there. The place is set up nicely, very spacious and TVs are easily seen from just about everywhere. We had good service, which could be because we were the only people in the place. My friends had food, didn’t hear any complaints from them. I am very curious to see what this place would be like when there is a big crowd. Not sure why the place was so dead during MNF and a Bulls game. I’ll definitely be checking this place out again.

This is a strange place… this is an upstairs sports bar with little to no street view signage. So, you don’t even know it is there, just an open door and a flight of stairs — enter at your own peril. I did that one night and was happily surprised to find a sports bar, I LOVESPORTS! And bars. So, we went earlier this year to watch a blackhawks playoff game. IT was in the middle of the day on a weekend and it was just the two of us and the bartender. And she was more interested in the game than helping us. A couple months later there was a groupon so we bought it. And footbal is going on now, so we went on a thursday night to watch a football game and eat food. The space is huge up there and on thursday night the booths were full(four or five booths on the window) but it was just us and one other dude a table. The food was relatively expensive and not very good. It seemed like they were trying real hard to be a step or two below 5 start food, but its a bar and we just wanted regular bar food really. The appetizer — incan tater tots — was the tiny portioned thing you’d expect at a small bites place and we were thinking maybe a plate of tots or something. the burgers we had weren’t bad, but they weren’t awesome either. we’ll probably go back at some point, but i would be really surprised if this place lasted very long.

Disappointed. Went for dinner on a Thursday at 6:45pm. We were the only people in the restaurant when we walked in and the bartender told us to have a seat anywhere. It took him a solid 20 mins to get us menus and take our drink and food order. WEWERETHEONLYTWOPEOPLEINTHEENTIRERESTAURANT! in his defense, he was very friendly and maybe he just doesn’t know how table service works. Pros: Décor, portions are huge, Nachos were delicious, friendly server Cons: slow service, they were out of half of the menu, we both ordered their signature burger and they were way over cooked Unfortunately this was no diamond in the ruff, I will not return.

My friend recommend this place to host my birthday last week. I went to check it out and met the owner who was amazing and very friendly. The next day when I arrived he reserved special seating and was very accomodating with bottle service. His bartenders, Kayleigh and Karina, made my experience even better. This place has great potential to be one of the new up and coming places to be in the Logan Square area. My friends and family said they are definitely coming back for seconds. I highly recommend this new place to everyone.

What is this place?! Really! I think this place would benefit from picking an identity and sticking to it. It’s got better-than-your-average-bar food on the menu, yet there’s about 5 tables and lots of room for the dance floor… that is, if you’re not too busy wrapped up in one of the many sports matches that’s on one of their many giant TV’s or projectors. Their well vodka is nas-tay(my fault. I should have seen that one coming). Ceviche was pretty good but it came w/two skinny pieces of plantain, so you basically just ate it by the spoonful. The skirt stake was WONDERFUL(caps for emphasis). It was huge, perfectly cooked, and very well seasoned. So good. However, the artichoke salad was over dressed, and due to the no substitutions I couldn’t get dressing on the side, nor could I sub(or upgrade… I would have paid… your loss, guys) normal fries with sweet potato fries. Plus with the no substitutions thing, it’s very hard for someone w/a gluten allergy as most of the menu is burgers. My boyfriend got the ahi tuna and couscous and said it was dry and overdone.

Fantastic Bar. A friend of mine decided to have a birthday gathering at Suite 25 after becoming friendly with the owner. He’d only been to the location once but that was all he needed to be sold on it. Upon entry, I became sold on the location as well and didn’t need an explanation as to why he’d become an instant fan. The décor is casual yet the place has an elegant feel to it. It’s spacious and the music/television weren’t obnoxiously loud. The staff were professional and friendly and the drinks were great. My only complaint was the speed of the service. I went on a Thursday night so the place wasn’t that crowded. Yet it took easily 15 – 20 minutes to get a drink EACH time. That’s unacceptable in my opinion. There were only two bartenders on duty when there needed to be at least four given the pace at which they were serving. Even still, I’d give Suite 25 another try for sure.

I love to bro out… I really do and don’t mind admitting that… and it has proven to be a difficult task in Logan Square. It’s a struggle to find a bar with televisions to watch the games and actually be able to see on the small screens. So, props on that idea, but I don’t foresee myself coming back. While the place was nearly empty, the bartenders were as slow as my Grandma walking up a flight of stairs. While I don’t expect to be served immediately in a crowded bar, this wasn’t the case. We went on a night where there were empty bar stools and only two tables of people. The music was so loud that they seemed like they were trying more to be a club than a Sports Bar. With the changes taking place in this neighborhood as far as businesses are concerned, I do not see this place prospering in this neighborhood anytime soon. I don’t want to live in the next Wrigleyville, either… It’s nice to walk down the sidewalk without dodging vomit.

Pure genius. Put a sports bar in the middle of a hipster neighborhood, watch the place get«found,» and grow into the place to be.(See also: Panchos; transformation from roughneck local Puerto Rican Bar to Township; Two-Way Lounge, etc.). We ended up here by accident, because the Owl was too crowded and filled with douchebros(the third step in the typical Chicago bar cycle: working class/blue collar crowd begets hipsters/artists begets douche/bro, etc.). This was the next closest place, a few dozen steps to the north. Up the stairs on a second floor walk-up, Mike Ditka mural on the wall, gigantic HDTVs, a faux VIP lounge area with mocha-colored leather sofas, and 20-foot windows overlooking Milwaukee Avenue. They were playing B96-grade hip-hop when we got here, but gave in to requests for LCD Soundsystem by the time we left. Unlike any other bar on this stretch of Milwaukee Ave., plenty of seating available at 1:00 a.m. on a Friday night. Not for long though, this«sportsbar» will be doing electroclash revival Thursdays by late summer, no doubt about it.

I stopped into this place with a friend to watch the BCS bowl, and the place was sparsely attended, with only about 15 people in it. It is a sports bar, but it has a loungey vibe as well, with high ceilings and couches. I’m not sure that it is the best combination, but the game was on and the beer selection was good, so it definitely satisfied our needs. The server was friendly and fast(the lack of people might have played a role in this speed), and in addition to the good beer selection, there was also a full restaurant menu and a cocktail list to boot. The server said that the menu is still being worked on, so be aware that some of the items may not be available(we didn’t eat during my visit). They had a promotion where they gave a free house shot to anyone who checked in to the place on facebook — I didn’t take up the offer since it was a Monday, but it might be good to know. It is nice to have a sports bar in the neighborhood, but this place definitely needs to work on its presentation and decide what exactly they want to be, a restaurant, a sports bar or a lounge. I will definitely give this place another try in the future.

A sportsbar in Logan Square. Oh, the horror. No really, apparently people are terrified of the idea, because when yours truly stopped in the other night for dinner with the misses, we were the only folks in the place. The fact that it’s a pretty large space only added to the emptiness of it, but luckily, by the time we left, a whopping 6 other people had shown up. But that’s ok really, because this is a new place, so it will take some time for them to build up a clientele. And, I would say they have a lot to offer to entice folks to come in, such as: 1) good food 2) good beer selection 3) space, lots of space 4) plenty of TVs and the like The main selling point I can offer up is the food. I had their Suite 25 burger, and it was quite an undertaking. The thing is monterously huge, but more importantly, very delicious. But I wouldn’t recommend ordering any appetizers if you’re going to take that thing on… your stomach will need the room. We did however order their wings, which were just OK, nothing great unfortunately. Our waitress was also very sweet, nice, and attentive(granted there weren’t many other customers to attend to, but I digress). And, back to the space, there’s plenty of room in there. Tall ceilings, very airy, and, once people actually start showing up, I’m sure it would be a great atmosphere on NFL Sunday or to watch the NCAA Tournament or what have you. The décor is a tad bit on the posh side for my tastes, but, only a minor negative for me. And, I should probably mention, the night we showed up, the Bulls weren’t playing, so, no local sports to offer, so, perhaps that can be attributed to the emptiness of the place that evening. But don’t be afraid people. Check it out. It’s just a sportsbar with good food and quality beer selection. Ultimately it’s just adding a little variety to the neighborhood, so in my eyes, that’s a good thing.

Out of place for the neighborhood but will probably draw attention. Considering it is a sports bar, and a fairly large space, I was considerably disappointed to walk in and not find any pool tables. But maybe it’s just me to assume a sports bar would have a pool table in a neighborhood lacking places to play pool. They would be smart to consider this. Monday night drink specials will bring me back for sure. I had a Schlitz and a shot of tequila for $ 3. Sold. French fries. Hand cut. Large. Fresh. Meh, not bad. There are other food items I will hesitantly be obliged to try.
