Definitely one of those stores that you would pass up if you didn’t quite understand the concept. Its really simple, its all about Holistic Chinese old school products. The couple who owns it have been here forever and know what they are talking about. If you would like to get tea’s that will make you lose weight, help in digestion or just calm your nerves– well here it is. The products are somewhat unusual at times but believe me the products are types they you would normally not find anywhere else. My mom always has backaches and the Salonspas patches work! They come in various packaged amounts but I like to get her the bigger patches that she applies and leaves on. They do work because I have also tried them whenever I have an ache somewhere. Also too the ointment that comes in a little green bottle for less than $ 5 is also a perfect accompanist to the patches but in liquid form. It has a menthol smell to it and definitely works. You can get the most unusual products here for less than what you would pay your doctor at any given time. Ladies, do you have menstrual problems, ummm yes, he also sells tiny little pellet formed pills that you take and my friends have sworn that their irregular monthly friend is now back on track and less pain than before. Yes, they do sell Ginseng in liquid form, but why stop there? Give them a try and you will see that their products although unusual, do work. Its also advised to the tourist that if you are just here for oddities sake(which is fine), please don’t put on the Chinese Straw hats just to take a selfie, as this is using their products and not respecting the store.(Hey I just read the sign don’t judge me). But seriously, you will find whatever you need by asking. If you have migraines, let him know and he will give you something for that migraine. And men, if you have problems with«rising to the occasion,» ummm yes he has something for that also. A friend that use to have that problem swears by it. Plus while I was there a young guy(yes young) came in and asked and I eavesdropped. What? I am supposed to be colorful, its PRIDE month!

Ages ago I took liquid ginseng straight from small glass vials to ward off allergic reactions to cat dander — a friend and fellow Unilocaler used to get them for me on Maxwell Street. Later, when my dearest betrothed Kelly B. and her feline friend moved into my pied a terre, I again went looking for that magical elixir. Thanks to A.S. V.‘s review right here on Unilocal,I found them at Sun Sun Tong Company. See? It really DOES work! Sun Sun is a great spot for liquid ginseng, goji berry extract, and other similar herbal medications, at a fraction of what you’d pay at GNC, et al. Highly recommended, and worth a trip from the NW side of Chicago. Coincidentally, I also hear this is where Gob Bluth gets his tea for dong when traveling through the Midwest.

I’m not an expert of these shops, but I used to buy cases of ginseng that came in little vials of liquid that were pretty cheap, a good energy pickup during long hours at work.
