Service is exemplary and unmatched at this hidden gem in Logan Square. The chef-owner, Estelle Falke-Kroll, is new to the Chicago dining scene — but her confident presentation and effortless charm belies her five years. The vegebrgrrs and pezza were neighborhood standouts, and the cupcakes and ice cream dazzled and comforted. The check, when it came, was only five dollars; with prices this low, you can put Sunshine Corner next to Parts and Labor and Boiler Room for top-notch, democratic dining in Logan.
