Very solid corner grocer with Mexican and American staples. Café Ebenecar in the back makes some of the best tortas and antojitos in the neighborhood, as well as the occasional off-​the-​beaten-​track salsa (salsa negra, salsa de chile pasilla). A local gem.

Just a little Mexican convenient store, but in the back they have a restaurant. The tacos are SUPER meaty and comes with alot of toppings. Great price.

Typical little Mexican corner store. Rough around the edges, limited selection. Bit of fruit and fresh stuff, though, which is handy.
The big ups here are to the little diner they have open on weekends in the back. Fresh Mexican fare, fresh while you wait (and watch, if that’s your thing: there is bar seating).
I was here the weekend the open kitchen in the back was officially introduced, and had a lovely meal to-​order as I waited, though there were some translational issues.
They’re trying their best, and the kitchen staff are super-​sweet (though the kids do sometime interrupt the cooking and such).
The rest is pretty typical eh thus far.
