Horrible return policy and customer experience! I bought a Swatch watch here about 3 weeks ago and took it for exchanging it with another one yesterday (they have a 30-​day return policy). Despite the fact that the watch was unworn, in its original packaging and had the invoice, the salesperson just changed the battery and completely dismissed me, refusing to exchange it for another watch. He was unbelievably rude and dismissive. If you do buy a watch here, be warned that you won’t be able to return it!!!

Could not have asked for a more enthusiastic salesman at this Swatch store #238 at North Bridge Chicago. David knew his his history on vintage Swatches! Polished my old one and put in a fresh battery (I’ve only had 3 batteries replaced during the 10 years I’ve owned the watch) if you don’t own a Swatch, or several, you should!

I walked in today with a broken watch band. Within 2 minutes Alexander had it repaired, free of charge (?!?). Within another 5 minutes I bought a second band and he gave me a tutorial on how to switch between them at home.
Swatches are great, inexpensive and fun watches, and I will be going to this location in the future for all other purchases simply because Alexander was so friendly, informative and downright amazing.

I love Swatches. I was so sad when they quit selling them near me in Kansas City, Missouri. I collect Swatches so everywhere I go I visit a Swatch store if one is available. The last time I was in Chicago, I had a few that needed batteries, and this store was clean and very helpful. One of my favorite watches needed a new band and I got one to match. I would love to see a Swatch come back to K. C, maybe the Overland Park area or Lee’s Summit area, I swear Swatch their are plenty of people here who would buy your watches if you came back.

If you’re on Michigan Avenue, visit this Swatch store in the big Nordstrom building a little North of the Wrigley building. Why drive — The convenient store has all the watches at the same price as other locations. The people there are friendly and they can fix your watch or change the batteries. It’s been there for 10 years, but the manager Erica has been there for 6 years now (she hails from Ohio). The staff and she are great!

So… Love Swatch. But what I don’t love is the fact that they shut down their store at Oak Brook (so much more convenient for us!) But anywho… The HB has this awesome Swatch watch which he has had for about 5 years… he wears it to work everyday, so it gets banged up and the crystal get scratched up quite a bit… so the thing is Swatch will buff out the scratches for FREE! We walked into the store (which is about the size of my
closet; which isn’t all that big!) and they buffed out the scratches no questions asked!
So thank you Swatch for being there… I just wish you were closer!

I’m already a swatch fan, and decided to skip the website and hit the store. The service has great. The people who work here were beyond pleasant, and made the trip totally worth it. They do have a wonderful selection, from conservative to far-​out watches.
My only ding is the store is so small that if more than 2 or 3 people are in it, moving around can be a bit frustrating. That being said, totally worth a visit.

I had a Swatch when I was a kid and have always loved the designs. I have been admiring a clients Swatch for several months now and even checked out a store in NYC recently. I was at Nordstrom today and decided to stop in. A sales associate named Morgan was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the different designs. She was fun and engaging and really made the selection/​purchasing process fun. I decided on a simple design that totally fits my personality and style and my shopping companion also bought a watch. I am eager to return soon to pick up another watch and am really hoping that Morgan will be working again. She even thoroughly explained the warranty and warranty coverage adequately. She also explained that the more Swatches you own you can mix and match the bands with the faces!

I have 4 Swatches and have given a few as gifts to family members over the past 10 years of my life. I love these watches, even if they tick loudly. The batteries actually last a long time and the designs are cool. They are also affordable, which is a huge plus.
Now that I’ve established myself as a Swatch fan, let me just say that I’ve been waiting ALL SUMMER to get the e-​mail about the free battery repair in August. I was waiting for this promotion to get fresh new batteries for 3 of my watches, only to find no such e-​mail in my barren inbox. I called the store to check-​in, and turns out a) the promotion JUST ended and b) the guy who entered my email in got my email wrong!
I expressed my sadness for the mix-​up, and Erica, the store manager, graciously offered the free battery repair for me, even though the promotion just ended. I was so ecstatic! How awesome.

Nice store, small, but has all you need. We were just given a couple of Swatches as gifts, passing through town, thought to to an exchange. Very helpful, we did a two Swatch for one nice Swatch without any problem. Also, while we were in, another customer came by for battery replacement. They quickly handled the job and offered to shine up the crystal face as well.
