Overall caveat of this review: it’s just a hospital cafeteria, so don’t expect anything super amazing. Still, I ate here 10 times over 6 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was always good and(relatively) healthy, I was able to get from the Galter building to this building without going outside and the food is quick. There’s a salad bar that stays pretty stocked — it has relatively limited options but enough to make a nice salad. But most importantly everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes the difference when you’re eating cafeteria food, much less eating it in a hospital. It’s not necessarily cheap but it’s a lot less expensive than it could be. I also ate at Au Bön Pain and Hilltop which are nearby and easy to get to(and have better food honestly) but for convenience and comfort this cafeteria does the trick.

The food is very good! There is a lot of choice, from full meal plates to sandwiches and burgers. Salad bar has a lot of variation! Everyone that works there is so nice and pleasant. There is also ICECREAM!!!

This hospital got street enclosed 2nd level bridges between and connected at least 3 different street sections.

I guess it’s kind of silly to review a hospital cafeteria, but I have spent a lot of time in them in my former career, so why not. The reason I came here is there is no place in Lincoln Square to find a quick and easy salad bar, except here. So it’s the usual average space located on the lower level/first floor of the hospital. The salad bar is fairly well stocked but not huge. The tuna salad is wunderbar. Everything seems pretty fresh. They make some nice pizzas, and the veggie one is chock full of fresh plant life. About $ 3.00 per slice. Staff is friendly and helpful. I put together a nice plate of salad items for about $ 4.00. I wouldn’t bring a date here or make a special stop, but if you’re around Swedish Covenant Hospital and hungry, it’s not a bad option. Put it on your«low budge» list. Probably better for takeout than dining in.(You won’t have to overhear any colonoscopy stories as you munch on your grape tomatoes.)
