Talk about trying to make a sale. I know you work for commission, but don’t blatantly lie like you know everything to try to get me to buy a new cell phone. I really dislike going to any cell phone company because of this, but these guys are not only pushy, but also unprofessional. Why are you focusing on changing the music in the store when there are customers right in front of you? They seem to chat amongst themselves quite a bit and they look like they came straight out of high school. To be frank, if I could have a cell phone without a carrier, I would. I don’t trust a single person who hocks cell phones. These guys are not knowledgeable and seem to make things up on the spot. I know more than they do. I felt like I had stepped into a cousin’s friend’s little brother’s uncle’s step-son’s apartment to buy a phone.

Update: This service continues to suck. I have periods of time where it takes 3 hours to have a text conversation with my girlfriend because every text takes 30 minutes to receive at the other end. 1 out of every 3 times I get a picture message I have to restart my phone because the message will not go through to my end. An incoming message will appear and the«loading» icon will spin for hours. It’s 1:45 am and I just received 14 text messages simultaneously. If you can go in on a plan with a group of 4 or more people, the rates are pretty good. YOUWILLGETWHATYOUPAYFOR however. And I don’t mean that as a complement

Told them I didn’t want insurance on my new phone. They said okay. Checked online when I got home and they added the insurance. Made a complaint to T-Mobile and the Illinois attorney general

I’ve stopped in here a few times since they opened a couple months ago. The employees here are commissioned or «spiffed» salespeople but are super friendly and not as high pressure as I’ve gotten at AT&T. Knowledge can vary greatly and while they all know the current pricing plans and offers, some don’t have a grasp on older technologies and what improvements have been made even in the last couple years. And many don’t understand their lower coverage areas outside the major cities. Even the complete lack of coverage on I55 between Coal City and Bloomington and then just outside Bloomington to almost St. Louis. More education is needed so the employees aren’t left lying to customers just because the employee is afraid to admit the truth or doesn’t even know the truth. The prices are slightly lower than what I currently pay with another carrier but I’ve decided their lack of real coverage on rural interstates while I’m traveling and in truly small towns isn’t worth the price difference. But my review rating isn’t for coverage, it’s for this store, it’s employees, and the parking. Parking here is downright ridiculous. On many evenings and weekends the Peaches Boutique has so many customers that none of the other stores really have a chance. And with the Unilocal rating Peaches gets I just don’t get it. But the T-Mobile here is best visited during the day or when there aren’t a lot of proms, winter socials, homecomings, or weddings coming up.
