I ordered through seamless delivery for the first time. Food was delivered hot and within 35 min. Everything was tasty and very inexpensive. Check this place out!

I have had to update my review because after eating said Chicken Pad Thai my roommate explosively *ahem* discharged her food throughout the night. For all those concerned I was fine and slept like a baby. 2 stars off for the food not wanting to call my roommate’s body its home.

Awesome value and service. Chicken wings and crab rangoon were hot and fresh. Super quick — We ordered it, walked down the block to get it and they apologized for the 1 minute wait and gave us free egg rolls.

For my first order the food arrived at exactly the time that was provided When the order was generated. Rare with grub hub. Food was great. Long delivery times will kill it for me. This was fast on a Friday night. Thank you

I am very torn about writing this review. I am new to chicago(east coast gal) and so far the variety and quality of food in the city is impressive. And then I ordered chinese take out from Takie Outit and everything was shattered. The shrimp fried rice was absurd… almost like it had been bought from the frozen section at jewel osco. The lomein were thin noodles, unlike anything id ever seen before when ordering Lomein. The chicken broccoli was drenched in some sort of white sauce(sauce is supposed to be brown!) and it was just. heart breaking. The reason I am torn about the review(as previously stated) is that I don’t think Takie Outit is bad compared to the rest of chinese take outs in Chicago. I ordered the same meal from another restaurant the next day, which had much more promising review, and it was actually worst. At this point, I may just have to accept my fate of never having good chinese food again.

Horrible. 45min late delivery. S/S shrimp coated in too much dough. And I like my fried food but — no. Tao’s chicken dry and accompanied by 2 tiny broccoli. Never again.

Gross! I thought the egg roll was good at first… until I found a hair in it. The hair did not match mine so I know if came from the restaurant. I ordered the chicken pad thai which was TERRIBLE. The noodles were stuck together and tasted like they had been under the heater for 2 days. There was also no packets of soy sauce, etc. for the crab rangoon and egg rolls. I called the restaurant to first see if they make their egg rolls in house. They do so the hair was definitely their fault. She apologized but just said she didnt know what happened. I was offered a credit for my next visit. ABSOLUTELYNOT. We live in Chicago with tons of great options for this type of food. I will not waste any more time on somewhere that does not take the time and care into preparing their food. She said since I didn’t have a complaint about the crab rangoon or fried rice(I did, but she wouldn’t stop interrupting me on the phone) that they will just charge me half price. Less than par customer service, terrible old hairy food, and no sauce sides… what the heck Takie Outit???

Five stars for providing everything you need from a gringo Chinese takeout place: Full menu including pad Thais and a ton of noodle dishes, fries/onion rings for those very special pigouts, low prices, fast, and friendly. This is our new Chinese takeout go-to in the city. My boyfriend and I ordered the Special for Two B meal + egg rolls last night, which provided more than enough food for one meal, plus tons of leftovers. The small servings of vegetable and meat dishes are substantial and come in standard Tupperware containers. The egg drop soup serving was enormous. Everything was delicious, not dry(my number one gripe with Asian noodles and rice), and full of flavor. The food was ready within 10 minutes as estimated and ready to go when my boyfriend picked it up. I can’t wait to try their spicy noodle dishes in the future. Trust me, you can’t go wrong.

Singapore Noddle — Singapore Noddle — Singapore Noddle This is the kind of Chinese joint that makes your standard orange chicken etc, but the good stuff is Singapore Noddle — Singapore Noddle — Singapore Noddle(he he he) Thin rice noddle with yellow curry — it’s perfect for just about any occasion. Seriously, though, they are quick, always pleasant and ask me how I am, and they make yummy food at an inexpensive price. It’s become second nature to call them, walk over, and have food in my full belly within 20 – 30 minutes. I don’t want to ever move away from Takie Outit — partially because the food is so good, but also because the name is so much fun to say. :)

We wanted cheap, classic fast Chinese food that delivers and the place that was nearest to us, MAK, has food that’s much too healthy to fulfill that craving. We found Takie Outit from searching Unilocal and we delivered on GrubHub. It was very easy, there was a $ 3 delivery fee, and we could also add the tip onto the credit card. This was perfect because then when we got the phone call about our food being ready, there was no need to bring any money along. GrubHub quoted about a 50−60-minute wait, which made us a bit disappointed at first. We probably waited a little too long t order because we were already hungry. Imagine our surprise when my phone rang after only ~20 minutes! I was so very impressed by the quick delivery. Our hungry tummies were especially thrilled. The food here totally nailed the cravings. I enjoyed my pad Thai with tofu and crab Rangoon. That was another positive experience. When filling out the order form online, there was only chicken, beef, or shrimp options. There’s a line where you can make additional requests/information, so I asked for tofu instead of shrimp, if possible. I was so happy when I got the tofu and at no extra cost! It wasn’t the heat pad Thai I’ve ever had. It had iceberg lettuce instead of bean sprouts and whole peanuts instead of the traditional crushed ones. However, I definitely wasn’t complaining because the portion was so big. I like that there’s an environmentally friendly option to not get napkins, paper plates, and plastic cutlery. We were at home so we could easily provide ourselves with those items. Overall, I’m usually a little hesitant to order Chinese food because of its sometimes questionable quality, but I was pleasantly surprised by our experience here and would definitely order again!

This is my favorite«gringo» Chinese place in the city. I’ve eaten at many of them. The best deals are the all-day lunch specials. All of their appetizers are very good, with the best being their egg rolls, crab rangoons, and chicken wings in that order. Their General Tso’s chicken is slightly spicy, and overall good quality. We’ve always been satisfied with the quality of the food here.

The Cantonese lo mien & fried rice are my favorite items. I’ve also enjoyed several of the appetizers-the tempura shrimp is yummy! I’ve ordered from here a few times and it’s the best Chinese delivery I’ve found so far in Chicago. When I’ve called over the phone, they’ve been extremely polite and helpful. The delivery man has also been timely and come to my condo unit – unlike many others who make you come to the lobby.

The quest for the best Chinese food continues! Either this place has just gotten to the hip new online world or I somehow missed it during all my late night delivery sessions. I ordered the orange chicken lunch special, lobster kow, lobster fried rice, and some crab rangoon. Delivery was fast, came pretty much 20 minutes after I ordered. Everything was piping hot fresh too which was nice. I tore into the orange chicken first which is my go to meal. The meat was breaded nicely and it had good sauce. The fried was pretty decent too. I noticed a pattern in everything though. As my sweet grandma once put it, «Where’s the beef?» In the orange chicken lunch special there was a ton of rice…7 pieces of chicken bites. Even in the fried rice itself I counted a whopping 5 shrimp. In my lobster fried rice I had…4 bite sized pieces of lobster in the whole CARTON!!! Same with the lobster kow which was pretty much 3 small pieces of shredded lobster with a pound of vegetables in sauce. I understand they didn’t want to overdo it since everything is pretty cheap and this is lobster, but COMEON! Egg drop soup was pretty meh as well. Unless you like places that skimp out on things so much it’s not even close to what you ordered give this place a pass.

Our new go-to delivery Chinese. Sweet and sour chicken was amazing. Chicken and broccoli was great. Crab rangoons were tasty(free through GrubHub with order of $ 15+). SUPER fast delivery. Came in 35 minutes. And cheap!
