Came here on a whim… Pretty damn good al pastor! Have had a lot al pastor tacos in the city but this place does it a little different and really well!

Definitely the best Al Pastor tacos in Chicago. They remind me of the ones they make in my town in Mexico. The service is fast and friendly. The salsas are great. I always crave these tacos, I wish they were open ²⁴⁄₇ to satisfy my late night after drinking cravings.

Hands down best tacos al pastor in Chicago! The meat is like no where else, maybe except Mexico. It tastes just like the motherland and the red salsa that comes with it makes it even more amazing. The rest of the tacos are very good too but I definitely recommend the Al Pastor, those are legit mexican style al pastor tacos. All the tacos are very cheap and very generous in portion. This is my favorite place!

authentic. all they have is tacos. The El Pastor is as good as it gets. We also had the pork head tacos, and the steak. Steak tacos were seasoned well.

Best Al Pastor in Chicago — and likely only 2^nd to Tacos Leo in LA. The asada and chorizo are both very good as well. Salsas are both delicious. Add some habanero to give it some more kick.

RIQUISIMOS tacos al pastor! After taking a three week trip to Mexico this past summer and eating tacos every chance I got, I was on a hiatus from them until yesterday. When I found myself in the neighborhood, I went on the search for an al pastor taco that would rival some of the ones that I ate on my trip to Mexico. This spot is the jackpot!
I ordered 3 tacos al pastor and was dying for more by the time I finished. They have a Tuesday/​Thursday special with a taco costing $ 1.20 each — a delicious bargain! After ordering, I took a seat and was immediately brought an array of condiments — pickled veggies, two sauces, and a little bowl of limes. My tacos came out hot and steaming just a few minutes later & they did not disappoint. The green tomatillo salsa was not overly spicy but added a nice compliment to the cilantro and onion topped al pastor tacos.
I wished I lived closer to this joint! The restaurant is nothing fancy, so if that’s not your thing, go for the takeout. But everyone knows the best street food usually comes with no frills. Give it a try!
