It was too late by the time we arrived here, but the weird thing was that 30 mins before their closing time they were almost closed. However, the lady in there was very accommodating. When we went in she made us fresh vegetarian burritos and one order of tacos both of which were great tasting. It was nothing special or different but tasted really great. Good old, great tasting food. Great for a quick bite of satisfying mexican food.

This place is fantastic. Called late night and they stayed open for us for a few extra minutes while we hustled over. Food isn’t fancy but a dang good burrito.

Not the worst place. Food is cheap but very bland. Service is acceptable meaning you can get your order in a timely manner They need to sweep the restaurant floor more often because when I came there was food all over the floor.

great quick taco joint! I’m always looking for a convenient taco place close to my house and this may be my new favorite. OK, let’s just put it out there, this place is no frills and seems like you’re in a family members house which isn’t a bad thing just a bit dingy, the good thing is the food is tasty enough to make you forget that. Went with an easy choice of the taco plate, 2 steak one chicken for me and that ended up being a solid choice. If you have the tacos with everything that gets ya sour cream, lettuce, tomato huge slice of avacado and cheese, perfect!. The chicken had a great flavor and is more shredded than chopped just the way I like it and the steak we perfectly seasoned and cooked. Rice and beans lacking a bit of flavor but still ate them. Make sure to get the horchata, some of the best I’ve had. To wrap it up, don’t let the actual restaurant looms scare you away, this is a real gem with solid authentic eats!

For a good burrito late… go to Lazo’s. I came here because we were feeling lazy about getting up to Armitage and Western. A friend had warned that he found a bone in his burrito, but I figured it had been awhile since and I’d give it a shot. I should’ve just kept it in that realm of mystery and kept wondering. The burritos were bland and took forever. I got a chicken and a steak, one pared down and one with almost everything. Both were equally disappointing, so much so that the 8 beers I’d had earlier couldn’t even make them taste good. On top of that, it took quite awhile. There were only about 4 people ahead of me(3 of which had already ordered) but it still took at least 20 minutes to get my food(I stopped counting after a bit and just went into regret mode). It seemed like it would have been the same had I dined in except I had to walk home to eat my food. Which is another issue, since between the greasy menu and the grubby water cup(necessary since I had no idea when I might be leaving), I couldn’t see myself really wanting to eat here regardless of how hungry I might be. I did learn a valuable life lesson, however. Just get the cab to Lazo’s.

We chose this place over many options on Unilocal because it was the closest to our house. Now we are full of regrets. The burritos are not the best. Very bland and unsatisfactory. I give the place 2 stars because at least they are nice people who run the place and it’s not expensive. Also, believe it or not, I’ve had worse.

I Love Mexican food and at one point in time this was my favorite place to grab lunch/dinner. The tacos here were awesome, the way the tortillas and the perfectly seasoned meat tasted almost brought tears to my eyes but it just isn’t the same anymore. I’ve been going to this place for years(its literally a few blocks from my place) but lately I’ve noticed the portions of food have gotten drastically smaller and the food is cooked/prepared in such a lazy manner. After seeing the difference I’ve started feeling like maybe its worth trying other places when its 12am and I’m starving. Another thing is, me or does it seem like the prices are always changing? A taco dinner is about $ 7.50 on the menu but I usually end up paying almost $ 12???

I have been to Super Burrito twice, both times the place was empty. I ordered a chilaquiles breakfast and asked for it non spicy and it was extremely hot. The coffee was very watered down. The second time I went I got a veggie burrito suiza and after they made it they used a microwave to melt the cheese, and the side of chips it came with were stale. I wanted to like the place but you can get much better Mexican food down western at Arturos and Lazos.

*Staff does not use gloves or tongs to prepare food* Yes you read that correctly. I watched as the woman plunged her bare hands into the individual ingredients such as cabbage, avocado, etc to prepare the orders. Had I seen that first I probably wouldn’t have ordered at all but I figured, hey I’ll just ask them to use gloves for mine. Apparently«they don’t do that.» but after asking them to remake mine a different associate used tongs. The food tasted good, and I’d likely be a repeat customer if they got their hygiene together. Until then I won’t risk it and won’t encourage anyone else to.

Would’ve been a one the first time I was here. Bland, tough steak, bad meat to toppings ratio, small, somewhat expensive tacos. Went back after hitting Starvin’ Marvin mode after a softball game, and flavor and ratio was much better. Still run of the mill when compared to hole in the wall Mexican joints, but run of the mill is better than dog food.

Coming here reminded me of being back home. Two very nice Mexican older lady’s run this operation. Great spicy salsa, friendly service. The tacos are actually crispy enough and wont break on you. They fry the taco’s just a little so they last and not tear up. I absolutely hate it when a taco falls apart half way through. The prices are on point and the food is great. I recommend any one who is looking for straight traditional Mexican food. This is as traditional as it gets! :-D

Greatest spot in the city for TRUELY authentic Mexican food. Sweet staff! Son muy amable! Killer salsa! I always take some to go even after I’ve eaten. Honestly, the place isn’t that pretty but who cares the food is worth it!

Tasty food and the sweetest abuelitas cooking, but nothing exceptional. It’s a neighborhood taqueria and nothing more. But it is open late so that’s a thing.

LOVE this little place! Not too many places are open as late as they are. Great for a mid-day snack of after a night out on the town. Their tamales are GREAT& you can’t go wrong with one of their burritos.

Came here late at night as it was the only place open for dinner. Ordered a burrito with Carne Asada, beans, pico de gallo, guacamole. It was decent, quite large, your standard average Mexican(if burritos are really considered Mexican). Wasn’t horrible, but I wouldn’t seek this place out for high quality or ingenuity.

Went back recently and nothing has changed — in a good way. Same abuelita at the stove, same décor(updated with a fish tank and a flat screen), same delicious Chile Rellenos. I love this place!

If I had to review this place in one word? «Microwave.» If you want more words, well, the chorizo burrito suizo was bland and fell apart when I took it out of the to-go container(microwaved burritos tend to do such things). Nachos were average. Nice people, lots of drink options. Place could use a cleaning.
