The pharmacy… Sucks…
The female pharmacist that was there this evening had out me on hold for 15 mins. I was driving to the store to pick up a prescription and decided to make an advance call to the pharmacy to place my refill. The said pharmacist answered the phone and told me she had to out me on hold to «get to a computer.» I had still been on hold on the phone when inwalked in and approached the pharmacy counter. I told the pharm tech I was out on hold. Then I see the pharmacist pick up the phone and say «helloooo!!!» I was already being taken care of by the person at the counter… And guess what??? The pharmacist was standing in FRONT OF A COMPUTER WHEN I GOT THERE. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. BAD ATTITUDES ALL AROUND.

I’m only reviewing this place because last time I had a not so nice experience
Yes the place is great and convinent but I was really turned off by the way I heard many working employees talking obnoxiously and unprofessional in conversation with other employees. Are they working or are they just socializing?
Overheard a conversation between workers that went like, «What up b*tch! What time you get off? Oh Joey is weak as hell!» In of all places the toy aisle! I wouldn’t want any children hearing that language. After hearing that I wanted to find a manager to inform them but they were no where to be found and the maybe bosses by the registers didn’t look welcoming or friendly. I’ll go to another location I guess.

While me and my sister were in there about last week, a worker who i believe may have been a manager. Her name was Jaclyn and she helped me and my sister carry the bags to put them in our cart. we have a lot of pain issues and she had no problem helping us and was super kind to us. Cant not explain how great it was to see a great person like that.

I purchased a $ 50 gift certificate and a card. When leaving the store I realize I didn’t have the gift card in my bag. I went back in the store and let them know what happened. Jose was the manager that I spoke to and he had me waiting for a couple of minute. He then explained that there was nothing that could be done. Brittany and lil were also helping. I was starting to get frustrated because I just left the store when it happened. Lil then said she would see what they can do. After 10 more minutes waiting they finally gave me a new card. They cancelled the card and activated a new one. Lil and Brittany were super helpful and made my visit to target a pleasant one.

I’ve never had any issues with customer service at this Target. I come here atleast twice a week and I always find what I’m looking for. The store is well organized and has a Pizza Hut and Starbucks inside.

Worst check out experience of my life. Delia was my cashier and she was rude, harsh, and mean.
I had coupons and Delia told me «People have committed coupon fraud, so I now have to treat EVERYONE like they are going to commit coupon fraud».
I had to pull all 20 of my items OUT OF THE BAGS so she could match up the coupon with the products. THAT HAS NEVER happened to me before, and I shop at Target 1 – 2 times a week with coupons.
That was the first and last time I will ever shop at that Target thanks to the worst check out experience via Delia, who told me «I have been here for 7 years, so I know more than you do». She ACTUALLY said that to me.

I really don’t like this Target because I can never really seem to find the stuff that I’m looking for as well as it just seems that customers just go around grabbing stuff and putting it in places where it doesn’t belong and makes the store really trashy.

I was on my way to visit a friend and I stopped by this Target store to pick up a card, a pack of gum, and to use the restroom… the store was busy. I walked into the restroom and it had just been cleaned so that was a plus. I then went to the card section… took a few moments to select my card and headed toward checkout. As I was standing in line I got my pack of gum, I was in line for about 1 minute before I heard the front end supervisor call for «back up cashiers». I was in and out of the store in less then 10 minutes. It is what I would expect from a Target Store.

They don’t sell alcohol! Every single Target that I’ve been to sells alcohol, but why not this store?
I needed to pick up a bottle of something for a party I was going to on the southside. I saw Target and decided to get something from here. I looked and looked and saw nothing. I asked an employee if they sold alcohol and was was like no! Uhh ok thanks for the attitude lady.
I guess not all Target stores are created equal.

This review is for the pharmacy… I love Target stores in general. They all are pretty much the same in the city of Chicago. No real ‘super’ targets. When I visited the pharmacy at this Target the pharmacist, David Hill, was unbelievably nice. He explained every form that needed to be filled out, when my ‘script would be ready, and answered my questions thoroughly. He even gave me a business card in case I had any additional questions. Just a really great experience with this pharmacy and even though Target probably doesn’t care that I get my $ 4 prescription there I will continue to go to their pharmacy because I trust and like the pharmacist.
