DR Raechelle Paik was not only knowledgable and polite but, made my experience relaxing… They took me as a walk in, dropped what they were doing to accommodate me and my time crunch. I would definitely go back there and recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks DR Paik!

I’ve been doing this for too long, and thought (as a recommendation) I should finally see an optometrist. I would normally expect an optometrist under the same roof as Target to be impersonal and lacking in quality, but I was wrong. Dr. Paik was incredibly thorough, casual, and friendly. I was guided through the whole process, and he answered all my (thousands) of questions, and gave me some insight on how to better care for my eyes. Before I left, the staff (forgot their names), walked me through my frame options (there were many), and I even had fun doing it. Ended up with a great pair of glasses, reasonably priced, and formed a new relationship with a doctor who truly cares. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Who would think I would be reviewing an optician. Seriously these guys (girls actually) are the best. The optician is wonderful and the two girls who work there, Stephanie and possibly Deirdre are 100% awesome.

I read the positive posts here so I went in for an eye exam. Instead, I was examined by a temporary OD. She couldn’t even find the dilation liquid so she cannot do the dilation test on me. Maybe other doctors are good but definitely she was not well prepared.

I had to take my daughter in for her very first eye check for school. My daughter can sometimes be nervous but it turned out to be easy and only about 15 – 20 minutes. My daughter even said it was fun. Go figure!

I loathe going to the optometrist. So much so that I always make my one year supply of contact lenses last two years or longer. Not exactly doctor recommended, but I am not blind yet, so I’m going to stick with that plan.
I was down to my last pair of lenses and just kept procrastinating. Then, karma got me. After crushing an open bar at a wedding, I decided to throw my contacts down the drain rather than having to put forth all.that.effort and put them in solution. So, I had no choice but to head to the optometrist immediately. And yes, I drove home four hours from Wisconsin with no contacts and an epic hangover. White girl rebellion at its finest.
I was able to make an appointment that same day and it was really a painless process. Dr. Paik was SO nice, laughed at my drunken contact episode without judgment and had me in and out in what felt like five minutes. She trusted that I knew what lenses worked for me, didn’t try to sell me something else, and I was on my way.
The assistant helped me get a discount via Unilocal,and another via AAA, so not only was this painless but pretty darn cheap. I had to file my own reimbursement with my insurance (VSP) but that was easy enough and they ended up covering about half of the cost.
I’ll definitely be back next year… er, in two years.

Dr. Paik and his staff were amazing. They were welcoming, and accommodating when I had to reschedule my appointment. Dr. Paik was very thorough and amiable. He explained everything he was doing, he provided me with some trial contacts and gave me another pair to test the difference and see which brand I liked more. They offered me a rebate on both brands. I will definitely be coming back again.

They were very kind and helpful. Never had glasses before and simply explained everything to me. As long as I am in Chicago I will be going here.

I decided to get new glasses as a last minute birthday present to myself. I schedule an appointment same day and saw Dr Raechelle Paik. What an amazing doctor! I could have been happier, she explained everything as she was examine my eyes. I found out my previous prescription was only to see far when all I wanted were reading glasses. She gave me a reading prescription, everything happened in less than 15 minutes of me arriving. And at only $ 49! You cannot beat it, best optometrist experience I have ever had.

DR. RAECHELLE PAIK is a wonderful optometrist, who is very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She took the time to fit my wife with the best contacts for her specific needs. If you need glasses, an eye exam or contacts, we highly recommend a visit to Target on Division Street. Free Wi-​Fi while I waited in the café area, too!

I had such a wonderful experience here! Dr Andrew Paik was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient during my contact/​glasses exam. I had come in for glasses and I ended leaving with an order for new glasses while wearing my new prescription of contact lenses! Trina, was friendly and was very helpful serving both my husband (who purchased a pair of designer non-​prescription sunglasses) and I. I highly recommend this optical center, the professionalism and kindness are worth the trip.

Amazing designer selection at great prices. The Optometrist is the best I have ever visited. She is kind, very knowledgable, and took her time getting to know my lifestyle. I am referring all of my friends and family here, for sure.
